My Gateway has a great opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd year Engineering - Mechanical (fitting/machining) apprentice. Rondo Building Services, located in Erskine Park, is a highly focused business involved in the manufacturing and supply of a wide range of light gauge rolled formed steel products and systems, primarily for the construction industry in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. As part of this apprenticeship you will complete a nationally recognised trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical (Fitting/ Machining) Trade Some of the duties will include:
Trouble shoot, identify faults and rectify issues in a fast-paced environment.
Fabrication, machining, fitting and assembly work.
Complete repairs in a safe and efficient manner within set time-frames.
Engage in making, fitting or repairing mechanical equipment for optimum conditions and for intended use.
General workshop and maintenance duties.
