The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Managing the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.
Day-to-day, you'll be resolving specific technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations, providing, reviewing and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:
- Accountable for designs, developments and determines solutions to problems and issues within a specialist subject area.
- Able to work on a range of engineering problems involving high levels of complexity & uncertainty.
- Provides help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development.
- Assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.
- Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Beverley, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential Experience of the Senior Process Engineer:
- Demonstratable experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
- Experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
- Good communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
- Ideally, you will have experience in the nuclear industry but, this is not essential.
Qualifications for the Senior Process Engineer
- You must hold a chemical engineering degree.
- Ideally, you will be working towards chartership.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
