The role is working within our Digital Modernisation and Efficiency Business Management Team who lead services across DWP Digital to ensure the successful delivery of Digital Group's Business Plan.

You will be responsible for considering, understanding and analysing large amounts of information, summarising into key points to share with a range of audiences, to inform decision making.

You will develop, design and communicate business plans that achieve key strategic benefits including aspects such as people, technology and financial implications.

The Division of Medicine and Emergency Care is implementing an optimisation plan for the inpatient medical wards to improve patient care, experience and safety with the aim to have the right patients on the right wards for their medical needs. The established medical directorates of Acute Medicine, Cardiology, Digestive Diseases, Metabolic Medicine, Medicine for Older People and Respiratory Medicine all have inpatient wards and the newly established General Internal Medicine wards will add to the bed base with 2 additional GIM wards initially and a 3rdward has also been funded for 6 months of the year to manage winter pressures.

New Consultants will be supported on a consultant leadership programme.





The post holder will work 10 programmed activities for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust including weekend cover 1 in 7. • Supporting the Engineering Disciplines, contributing to achieving assurance to the GIGO, ultimately achieving a Security Authority to Operate for the GCAP System
• Identifying the MODs requirements for assurance of the GCAP system
• Create a plan of how these requirements will be addressed within and across the programme
• Manage and act as the internal review for the assurance deliverables

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC or time served experience with a clear understanding of the Engineering Lifecycle
• Sound experience in a systems integration environment
• Knowledge of security accreditation/assurance processes and activities, although knowledge or airworthiness or quality processes may be beneficial

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets.

What you will be doing as a Software ApplicationTrainer:
Working from their offices on the outskirts of Bolton, you will be dealing with customer sites across the UK. Duties will include:

• Delivering training sessions either on-site or online
• Providing internal training sessions for the support team
• Carrying out training needs analysis
• Troubleshooting any issues with regards to the customers' products
• Ensuring all procedures are documented and updated
• Arranging software upgrade schedules for customers
• As customers are based across the UK, the role will include the occasional overnight stay

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following Skills and Experience:

• Experience in an EPOS Trainer, Software Application Trainer or IT Trainer role
• A background in a retail management role with strong experience using or training EPOS systems or possibly an IT Teacher would also be considered
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexible to visit customer sites
• Strong general IT skills including knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL would be beneficial but isn't essential
• Full current driving license
