The following are the core responsibilities of the Dispenser. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: To be responsible for checking all medicines dispensed, ensuring there are no discrepancies Dispensing medicines to the entitled population safely and accurately Collecting prescription charges in accordance with dispensary protocol Maintaining stock levels within the dispensary, liaising with the dispensary manager to facilitate reordering Receiving and storing supplies in accordance with current policy, ensuring the cold chain is maintained where applicable Ensuring controlled drugs are dispensed in accordance with practice policy Ensuring safe disposal of returned and/or out of date medicines Ensuring all repeat prescriptions are processed within a 48-hour timeframe Providing patients with advice regarding all prescription matters Processing prescription requests via email, telephone (where authorised), face to face and online Processing dossett boxes Assisting the Dispensary Manager in the preparation of monthly returns Always maintaining a clean and safe working environment Always maintain accurate records, including appropriate coding entries

Our client, one of the UK's largest automotive service centre/tyre retailers with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Centre Manager in Bristo.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working alongside a small workshop team, as an Assistant Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the centre.
- Play a key part in achieving targets including key performance indicators.
- Maximising workflow through the workshop to achieve maximum efficiencies.
- Oversee the maintenance of stock values within the centre.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Offer and deliver excellent customer service.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of employees.

To be eligible you will need to hold commercial experience with a proven background within the automotive sector at a supervisory/management level. You will have the ability to lead and manage a team of individuals, the ability to demonstrate success in developing and maintaining a positive sales culture, a strong customer focus with the ability to encourage the team to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience, and experience in maximising sales whilst controlling costs, compliance with centre and management standards. A UK driving licence with minimal points is mandatory.

Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Charlton Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Charlton Nurseries dedicated training provider, Realise.


Qualifications required

To be able to complete level 3 qualification so will need maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
