The Department

The People & Culture Department is currently going through a significant period of change, and we have a number of new and exciting opportunities available.

The Department is made up of three clearly defined teams that work closely together to provide a comprehensive people offer. These teams include 1). People Systems and Transformation, 2). Employee Relations and Compliance and 3). Culture and Inclusion.

The Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join us as our Culture and Inclusion Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, this role will drive the evolution of a positive workplace culture, boosting morale and engagement, and contributing to an employee experience which promotes the Service as an “Employer of Choice”.

The post holder will be responsible for the design and implementation of strategies and initiatives that shape our culture, embed our organisational values, behaviours and beliefs and promote equality, diversity and inclusion. Experience within a public sector organisation would be advantageous but is not essential.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a firm commitment to inclusivity, fairness, dignity and the highest standards of ethical behaviours and will champion these in their day-to-day work.

To act as the lead Podiatrist in the delivery of nail surgery in terms of strategies, clinical standards and high-quality clinical care To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience and to support other practitioners on complex cases. Developing a robust competency-based training programme to underpin the training of podiatrists and podiatry assistants in nail surgery. Working closely with the Podiatry Clinical Educator Lead in the implementation of this training programme Standardising nail surgery processes and procedures across the service which is evidence based including implementing a clinical audit plan for nail surgery. The Immunisation Administrative Support enables the nursing and HCA staff to provide an effective, efficient and caring service to the School Immunisation Service by supporting sessions in primary schools and ensuring the provision of high quality patient service within a safe, efficient working environment. They will undertake all clerical and administration duties applicable to the Immunisation Service and work collaboratively with the Nursing Immunisation Team to meet the needs of the service, following policy and procedures.

What skills and experience we're looking for

A DfE recognised and relevant teaching qualification.

A secure knowledge and understanding of the science curriculum

Ability to teach Science across all key stages of the curriculum

Able to design and teach effective lessons and learning activities across the (subject) curriculum, age and ability ranges including personalising learning to meet individual needs.

Evidence of excellent classroom practice

Experience of working with students with complex needs including ASD and learning difficulties.

A good, up to date working knowledge and understanding of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies.

Evidence of appropriate, relevant and on-going professional development and training.

Good written communication skills.

Your new role
