The South East Covid Vaccination Programme is recruiting a Senior Project Manager. The post holder will have knowledge of primary care contracting and commissioning and will support the programme in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning, and service delivery.

The post holder must have strong core skill sets across project management, stakeholder management, performance management and analytics. The role will lead on a range of covid vaccination assignments and projects.

- Effective communication with all team member, directors and manager across the Group.

- Provide support to the Development Director and Senior Development Manager in the management of procurement contracts for projects and programmes of work to quality standards, performance standards and cost parameters agreed by Board.

- Proficient in the use of Excel (Use of VLOOKUP and similar functions to compare and analyse data in spreadsheets)
- Any previous of experience in the construction industry would be an advantage
- A candidate that enjoys providing an excellent customer service

The IT Department supports the wide variety of services provided by The Salvation Army in the UK and Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Projects team to facilitate several digital transformation initiatives for different parts of the organisation. Potential projects include changing the network infrastructure at sites and developing a mobile app to support mission.
The Project Coordinator will directly communicate with stakeholders from across The Salvation Army about the programme of work. They will also participate in a broad range of day-to-day activities, including tracking progress of project execution, and creation of insightful management reporting.
The UKI Territory has adopted industry standard project and programme management methodologies and expects IT and IT-related projects to follow PRINCE 2 project management methodology guidelines.
The IT Project Coordinator should have:

Previous experience of working in an IT environment, where you have coordinated information and supported projects
Awareness of project management processes with some experience of successfully managing small projects, or a recognised Project Management qualification such as Prince II
Previous experience working with or knowledge of IT equipment installations
A strong desire to build a career within IT Project Management
Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills and political awareness
Ability to work both as part of a team and pro-actively on own initiative
Excellent communication skills (written and oral English)
A positive, ‘can-do’, and flexible attitude
