The Service Lead will be accountable for ensuring the effective management and delivery of services in their particular service area. Salary: £26,477 - additional payment of £30 per night for on call cover
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a shift system, which includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Our client is a small Charity that offers support to Young People and Adults with Learning Disabilities and life limiting conditions who require intensive
support.

About You:
We are seeking individuals who are caring, compassionate, and hands-on to join our clients team.

Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year Supervisory experience, particularly with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours, and must possess a full UK driving license. Candidates must have a level 3 QCF in care or equivalent/higher or be willing to work towards this award.

* Experience of working with Adults or Children who have physical and learning disabilities: providing personal care and support and the administration of medication and clinical interventions.
* Experience of assessing the needs of vulnerable people and developing effective risk management plans and support plans.
* Experience of supervising / directing staff and taking responsibility for performance / standards of service delivery. The ability to coordinate and manage unexpected situations and demonstrate an ability to overcome difficult situations, setbacks and pressure.


Your Role:
The main purpose of the job is to act a a lead member of the team and assist the Service Management with delivery the highest standard of care, along with deliver services within residential settings for adults who have learning disabilities and complex health needs. The Service Manager will work to fulfill our clients responsibility to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of service users who have profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs.

Service Managers work a system of duty, which includes evenings and weekends in line with the needs of the Service and Service User demand.
