POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Product Manager, BuildService Experience

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our Builder Service Experience focus within our Platform and Data Services subdivision.   The Platform and Data Services subdivision primarily builds tools, frameworks, and products for use by internal athenahealth development teams within our athenaOne flagship product.  Additionally, we also have a suite of technical products such as APIs, Eventing, CDS Hooks, SSO, etc., that can be leveraged by external customers who want to build on top of the athenaOne ecosystem.  These products may be used by existing athenaOne customers who want to build their own apps or by third-party health IT companies who will innovate specific workflows leveraging these tools.  

This role will be focused on customer-facing experiences for these “builders” to learn about, onboard to, manage, and get support for these technical products.  While each technical product is different, the customers using them often leverage more than one so the priority is improving the consistency of experience and depth of capabilities within each to empower our customers. Key responsibilities include: understanding the market and customer, driving to a product vision, developing business cases, ensuring a product or set of product features meets business requirements and driving the creation and delivery of the product. The Team: The Enterprise CSM team works with our largest customers. As a Senior Manager on this team, you will play a leading role in supporting one of our largest and most innovative clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention within assigned book of accounts

• Effectively network and build trusting relationships with client operational leadership including conducting performance review sessions with clients to review practice performance and map business goals to identified value-driver’s framework

• Work with teams across athena to solve issues and address challenges to improve the effectiveness of the athena solution for your customer.

• Tailor a long-term success plan for each client that aligns with their business goals and coordinate appropriate internal domain experts for delivery including partnering with training, consulting, and support teams to ensure the client is successful

• Assess and prioritize issues that may lead to client attrition risk leveraging internal domain expertise to ensure a strong mitigation plan is in place

• Collaborate with, learn from, and mentor fellow CSMs and extended team members to drive ongoing improvement in athena’s ability to drive customer success.

Typical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 7+ years of professional experience, including working knowledge in healthcare revenue cycle and/or EMR in a sales, service, or operations role

• Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively navigate conflict

• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Gainsight is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as a member of an extended, cross-functional team

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for performing service operations including repair and troubleshooting functions to component level on complex electro-optical equipment. This will include but not be limited to diagnosis, service repair and upgrades to all product lines. The job requires set-up and calibration tasks; building and troubleshooting of systems; as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. The position determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the customer service process and continued process improvements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build and test opto-mechanical assemblies            

• Follow standard repair and maintenance procedures which will be documented to company standards              

• Provide repair cost estimates as required

• Operate test equipment              

• Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct

• Train other Technicians in the proper use of assembly/test fixtures and product handling     

• Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the company from time to time    

• Temporary assignments to other product lines including other departments              

Job Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• 2-4  years electronics/mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred.

• SAP experience desirable

• Ability to work well under pressure and be counted on to follow through on commitment

• Responds well to internal and external customer needs

• Ability to work on assignments where independent action and moderate degree of initiative are required to resolve problems and recommend actions

• Attention to detail is critical

• Collaboration and teamwork skills are required to work in a team environment, establish priorities and achieve results.

• Must have strong Communication Skills—oral, written & listening, to ensure effective communication with team members, customers, and organizational leadership
