Three exciting new leadership opportunities have arisen for inspirational and experienced consultants who want to help shape the education and training of current and future doctors in one of the largest trusts in the country. The Medical Education Department is offering three Care Group Directors of Medical Education roles which will attract 4 PAs that will form part of a 10PA consultant role (specialty – see below).

The role will cover:

1. Developing minimum staff health and wellbeing standards and developing an overarching associated strategy within Hospital 2.0.

2. Commissioning and directing specialist staff and experienced delivery partners, and developing an associated business case for approval.

3. Overseeing delivery partners and staff experience standards and concepts .

4. Stakeholder ‘staff voice’ engagement through cohort health and wellbeing leads.

5. Identifying NHP staff experience, wellbeing initiatives and benefits that fit within Hospital 2.0.

6. Working with academic institutions to design and develop research studies.

7. Developing a strategic framework for Integrated Art.

8. Effectively overseeing the outline planning for Office 2.0 in line with Hospital 2.0 timeframes.

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8c with a full-time starting salary of £70,417, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.

This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
