Role to start in 2025 What you'll be doing:

We have been supporting the wellbeing of young people in Devon for the last 20 years and this is a chance to work for a respected local Charity within an established experienced team. We are looking for someone who shares our values and enjoys working with young people to continue to develop the offer and respond to local need.

This is an employment-based training role forming part of a Department of Health (DoH) initiative to expand the metal health workforce offering support to children and young people at a stage of early intervention.

The role involves delivering (under supervision) high-quality, outcome-informed, evidence-based interventions for children and young people aged 8-18 experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties. Training and service experience will equip the post holder with the necessary knowledge, attitudes and capabilities to operate effectively in an inclusive, value-driven service.

The training is delivered by Exeter University. The post holder will be expected to attend all university taught and self-study days as specified within the agreed national curriculum, and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.

Employment and training will start in January 2025. The University course is a 12-month programme.

For January 2025, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Physical Education until at least August 2025 (two terms). The ability to teach PE to GCSE and A Level is desirable, but not essential. As an Area Business Consultant, you'll interact with potential and existing clients to create new business chances across different sectors. This includes getting learners involved in our full range of Apprenticeship programs, funded training, or commercial training. You'll collaborate closely with your local team to meet enrolment goals and represent HIT Training Ltd at local events.

The role will include working from home, travelling to client sites and networking opportunities in your local area.

Duties will include:


Actively prospecting and identifying new business leads.
Researching potential clients and new business opportunities within your region.
Networking with local partners and clients to uncover new business opportunities.
Travelling to meet potential clients and partners to explore new business prospects.
Setting up and leading meetings and presentations to convert potential clients.
Tracking and managing new business opportunities using our CRM system.
Collaborating with the local team to prioritise new business generation and support enrollment targets.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new clients.
