To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for Two Engineering Team Leader to come and join our team at our Dorket Head site in Arnold, Nottingham NG5 8PZ.
Salary: £56,774 per annum, 12 hours shift patterns 4 on 4 off days and nights 6 to 6, plus overtime at a premium, plus pension contribution up to 10% and excellent benefits package

• The ability to work with a team of skilled engineers across maintenance and project engineering activities.
Responsible for: Providing hands on engineering support to both production and other internal functions throughout the factories. Supporting the existing Engineering management team, communicating faults, prevention initiatives and implementing the IMS standards.
Role Summary:
The successful applicant will form an integral part of the Ibstock Dorket head Engineering department by leading a multi-disciplined team to focus on improved Reliability & OEE performance. Hours of work will be based around a 4 on 4 off shift rotating days and nights providing cover for a 7 day week production facility. Hours of work will be between the hours of 6 – 6 inclusive of paid meal break.
Specific responsibilities include:
The development/implementation of a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
Implementation of and adherence to all company and site control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in health and safety, Environment and quality.
Development and implementation of repair activities – working within production requirements to improve plant availability.
Liaise with and organise external contractors, ensuring they work to strict safety guidelines and meet Ibstock’s requirements.
Ensure maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively within a timely manner.
Effective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectives to optimise efficiency.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship to level 3 city and Guilds, NVQ etc
Experience of running a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system
A degree of computer literacy with experience of Excel, word, outlook.
A high degree of self-motivation.
The ability to communicate effectively between departments.
Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate and develop the team.
Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.
