The role

Day-to-day, you'll:

• Act as the first point of contact for the H&S Advisors
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved or requires further support to the H&S / Discipline Leads.
• Oversee the HSE advisors K.P. I's and Support HSE Area Lead within accident/investigations..
• Conduct audits of MEH site activities and sub-contractor operations as well as facilitating meetings
• Record the findings of audit reports and inspections in line with the HSSE Management system requirements.

What you’ll be doing

Working as our next Health Physics Monitor, your daily roles and responsibilities will include carrying out activities to support regulatory compliance primarily with the Ionising Radiations Regulations and Environmental Permitting Regulations.

The range of activities include, but are not limited to routine radiation and contamination surveys, radioactive source accountancy, radiation and contamination instrument first line repairs and calibrations, clearance monitoring, environmental monitoring, sampling and analysis of radioactive effluents, solid radioactive waste processing, on-job monitoring for Operations and Maintenance as required.

You will also be required to participate in the nuclear emergency scheme and will receive suitable remuneration for this.

Who you are

We’re looking for you to hold a basic understanding of legislation and company processes relevant to Radiological Protection. As a minimum as well, you will be qualified to GCSE level or higher within relevant fields including Mathematics and English and candidates with a C&G in Radiation Safety Stage 1 will have a distinct advantage. Additional qualifications supporting knowledge in a role like this would be desirable.

Previous experience of working within a Radiological Protection environment along with a strong understanding of radiation safety practice in the nuclear field would be desirable.

We are recruiting for a Commissioning Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead, who will be part of a team of Commissioning safety and compliance professionals reporting to the Commissioning Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring commissioning programme adherence and compliance with all applicable statutory health, safety legislative requirements, identifying non-compliances and providing guidance on matter relating to identified non-compliances.

Collaborate with, Safety Compliance Lead, Commissioning Environmental Compliance Lead Commissioning Fire Coordinator Safety, HPC Principal Contractor Organisation and Commissioning engineers/contract partners. And together, you will coordination day to day HSSE / Fire management and monitoring between the Commissioning Programme, which will form an integral part of the HPC Commissioning Health, Safety and Wellbeing Arrangements in line with the HPC site arrangements. - Enhance Health, Safety, and Wellbeing performance by managing risks in the Commissioning programme.
- Organize and lead meetings to plan, monitor, and review Health and Safety activities per the HPC Safety Management System and Health and Safety Plan.

As part of the wider ASCC team, you will be part of a rota mainly covering Bridgwater police custody. You may also need to provide some cover to Taunton, Yeovil and North Somerset Magistrates Court, and will be part of a voluntary attenders project, a service for those individuals who are suspected of committing an offence but interviewed at a police station or other location voluntarily, rather than being arrested and brought into police custody At times you will be working autonomously, completing rapid assessments and screening reports, but with support available from the senior practitioners and / or Band 6 colleagues. You will also complete monthly data returns as required by the Liaison and Diversion programme. You will offer professional guidance, advice and an educative role to colleagues working within the criminal justice system, and liaison with community services. This involves a commitment to close partnership working with both statutory and voluntary sector agencies and a commitment to working with an often complex and diverse range of individuals with varying needs.

The Role

You will join a team of therapists who are experts at what they do. You will be providing professional advice and beauty treatments for our customers to ensure they have the best in-store experience.

You will offer the following treatments:

Nails (manicure and pedicure), Threading, Tinting, Facial & Brow waxing, Lash extensions and Piercing.

We offer in-house professional training in Threading, Tinting, Waxing, Piercing & Lash extensions.

About You

• Possess, NVQ 2 in beauty Therapy or equivalent
• A desire to exceed customers' expectations
• Confident in approaching customers and upselling services and products
• Passionate about all thing's beauty

Notes: F/T Hrs - Full time but via long days 8-8. Weekends are 10-6 and you get about one every 4-5 roughly, every Friday. Mental Health experience would be essential so the candidate(s) can offer assessment and interventions as guided by the team.Skills in relation to risk management around mental health ideally. Physical health desirable.

If have skills and experience treating young people or adults within a crisis team or community mental health team then this would be valuable. However would consider other CVs and offer guidance around this.The candidates would be required to work with yp and families Good skills in assessment of yp needs and being able to consider treatment pathways based on this.

Ability to work independently but also part of a team in terms of offering interventions. They will be supported in the delivery of interventions as part of a team as appropriate to the yp needs and their knowledge and experience.
