Job Description :
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a full-time, board-certified psychologist to provide mental health treatment at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, PA. The mission of the Behavioral Health Institute is to serve all members of our community, including the underserved. This multi-disciplinary team provides essential mental health services to an often overlooked population of people. Join of a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.
Job Duties:
- Present reliable/valid psychological assessment data
- Engage in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, the provision and oversight of treatment delivery and team functioning, and plan execution.
- Enjoy regular and predictable schedules
- See a wide variety of cases, with ample opportunity for patient education and follow-up
- Work collaboratively with the mental health staff, medical staff and pharmacy staff to ensure delivery of high quality, reliable mental health treatment
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Psychology and completion of APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Clinical Internship.
- Clinical psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania, or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- CBT-I training and service delivery background preferred
- BLS Certification required prior to employment
