JOB PURPOSE The post holder isresponsible for the delivery of high-quality public health nursing services for Children Young People & Families (CYP&F) through the management and deployment of resources within a defined budget. The post holder will lead on designated projects, ensure recommendations from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews(CSPRs), near misses, complaints and other incidents are implemented, deliver the contract and Healthy Child Programme and facilitate clinicians involvement in service planning and decision making. JOB PURPOSE The postholder will work within the Plymouth Community Dental Service PCDS to develop, implement and evaluate defined Oral Health Improvement activities. Working closely with clinicians to ensure effective and efficient delivery of oral health programmes in line with national oral health strategies such as Delivering Better Oral Health, an evidence-based toolkit. This role will undertake oral health appointments with patients of the service, including adults/children and those with additional needs or who are medically compromised and to undertake fluoride varnish application under the prescription of a clinician. SCOPE AND RANGE This post will provide a comprehensive oral health service for patients with complex needs, as well as evidence-based oral health promotion to key population groups, in line with national and local strategies for reducing inequalities in oral health. The provision of Oral Health Promotion is multifaceted, requiring a range of inter-personal, presentational, and organisational skills, as well as an understanding of the impact of social and environmental determinants of health. The ability to work independently and flexibly is an essential part of this post. Responsibility for People Management Facilitate and support with on-going staff training in oral health promotion to the wider dental team and other healthcare professionals where appropriate. Ensure oral health improvement programmes are patient focussed. Work together with peers to ensure service promoting oral health; identifying new ways of working regarding oral health promotion where necessary. Collaborate and work in partnership, developing and strengthening professional working relationships to improve oral health outcomes with other health care professionals. Act as a point of contact and source of knowledge and skills for both internal and external enquiries to the service regarding oral health. Develop and deliver interventions to improve oral health in conjunction with key national oral health guidelines such as mouth care matters and delivering better oral health toolkit. You will also be required at times to undertake dental nurse duties clinically in surgery. You may be required to represent the service on the Plymouth Oral Health Improvement Group, in conjunction with Plymouth City Council, Public Health and other oral health providers. Ability to be able to visit different locations within the city to support with oral health promotion for the dental service. COMMUNICATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS This postholder will work with patients of the service, other dental colleagues to inform of up-to-date oral health promotion toolkits. Oral health promotion will also be undertaken with wider Livewell colleagues (such as in-patient settings), local residential homes and local schools. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB This post will undertake oral health activity in a dental surgery setting as well as talks in local schools and residential homes. Driving between different locations will be necessary. Creation of and maintaining of oral health resources as well as collation of oral health promotion evidence to be collated using various administrative systems, such as excel and good keyboard skills required.

This is an exciting new role being developed in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). A CAMHS Mental health Practitioner that will specialise in working with Children and Young People who present with substance misuse issues and co-morbid mental health presentation within the Young People Substance Misuse Treatment Service In Plymouth. They will be co-located within the Sharp Team. However, will be Line managed and caseload management within CAMHS and Clinical supervision in the Substance Misuse Service The post holder will provide. Assessment Psychological Interventions (this could include Motivational Interviewing to help young people focus on strengths and finding solutions. Training can be provided if needed). They will provide 10 to 15 sessions monitored by using outcome measures and will work closely with all the pathways and enable the facilitation of CYP moving seamless around our pathways. Consultations with other agencies and professionals Group work Health Promotion Our young people dont fit into boxes or models of therapeutic delivery we hope this new post we will attract the type of clinician that will adapt to the young persons presentation using all their skills. Enabling the CYP to come into The Young People Substance Misuse Treatment Service In Plymouth and back out again without need to access longer term CAMHS interventions. The successful applicant will also be supported to undertake additional therapeutic training depending on the skills they arrive in our service with. This role will also undertake line management and caseload management and supervision responsibilities for junior staff to support their development and the applicants development. To work with children and young people who may present mental health difficulties Co-ordination and implementation of evidence-based interventions in a timely manner, in collaboration with the other clinicians across the CAMHS Pathways. The postholder will need to have an awareness, knowledge and understanding of therapeutic principles to inform their practices and to support in providing interventions, outcomes so delivery best outcomes for CYP. Assessments and interventions will come external to this post and from internal routes. Providing 15 contacts with young people and families each week. To support the delivery of evidence-based group programmes for children and young people with mental health issues from a portfolio of available CAMHS training Take a lead in representing CAMHS in multi-agency meetings such as EHAT, SEND meetings or child protection meetings to co-ordinate and have oversight of mental health element of a multi-agency plan around a child. To function as a member of the CAMHS Service taking appropriate responsibility for the implementation of decisions made by the pathway. Ensure planned interventions are implemented effectively and evaluated using Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROMS) Maintain standards of care to highest level within available resources. To actively participate in line management with senior and junior members of staff. To liaise effectively with the other CAMHS Pathways To develop and maintain relationships with providers statutory and non-statutory. To maintain confidentiality in respect of the young people at all times. Communicate clearly with children and young people, their families and all other health professional groups about their health problems. Actively participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, e.g. clinical audit, essence of care or clinical policy development. Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

The post holder will act as a Key worker for a defined group of patients and organise care in accordance with the Personalised Care Framework. Provision of case load supervision for Band 5 mental health practitioners and line management. To contribute to professional development, appraisal, performance review and recruitment. Be responsible for the management of caseloads. Carry out reviews of caseloads and support the process of recovery. The post-holder will take part in the clinical audit of the CMHS/MAIS. Plan, with teaching establishments, a realistic learning experience for students and for postgraduate students and be responsible for the quality of the program. Participate in and support training programs designed for all staff groups. Monitor standards of practice within the team, ensuring areas of deficit are addressed through audit.
