The Role:

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be pivotal in supporting the finance department, handling diverse accounting responsibilities essential for the seamless operation offinancial activities.

Responsibilities:

- Review and reconcile debtors, and chasing late payments internally

- Assisting with the processing of refunds on a daily basis

- Report discrepancies to the relevant departmental manager

- Code & post invoices on a timely basis

- Reconcile invoices to statement for daily & monthly payment runs

- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations

- General administrative duties as and when required

- Posting monthly direct debits/receipts and making daily payments

- Assist the management teams by resolving any accounting queries

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a similarrole.

- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
