Job Summary

The Workover Foreman has hands-on knowledge and experience in all phases of workover and service rig completion work. This position will oversee proper operating and safe procedures on service rig completions and rig workovers on new and existing wells.

Supervises, directs, and coordinates field hourly employees, non-technical exempt employees, and/or contractors. Responsible for a small to medium size geographical area, and a narrow breadth of responsibility within their area of responsibility. Accountable for the results of a team or function’s performance. Recommends and collaborates with senior management to resolve strategic issues. Advanced knowledge in own area of functional responsibility and operational knowledge of related work groups. Applies processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; decisions affect mid- to long-term operational results. Frequently interacts with functional peer managers. Provides leadership and guidance to address departmental or functional objectives or changes in objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events

• Requires the operation of Company vehicles. Must drive safely to and from wells and well sites, maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies

• Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist

• Supervise employees and third-party contractors on the completion of wells, and repair work on wells

• Recommend changes in production operations and confer with Production Superintendent and Production Engineers for implementation.

• Use WellView software to track work and generate reports and tallies.

• Review and code invoices in Open Invoice demonstrating attention to detail and understanding of contracts.

• Understand well control and well repair procedures and properly react to unforeseen well problems.

• Demonstrate working knowledge and/or understanding of:

  • fishing procedures and tools

  • wireline procedure SL and EL

  • dynamometer & fluid level analysis

  • artificial rod pumping and downhole pumps

  • gas lift and ESP artificial systems, sucker rod lift systems, flowing wells & capillary strings

Required Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

• Field-based HSE Support: Position will assist in air, water, and waste programs at the field, regional or company level.  This includes, but not is limited to LDAR, solid waste, TENORM, SWPPP, NPDES, SPCC, etc.

• Assist in HSE management systems and corporate programs.  Provide HSE leadership and support to CLR's Completions and Production Groups focusing on CLR's HSE policy.

• Responsible for completing multi-media HSE regulatory activities that include monitoring, permitting, reporting, plan preparation and training.

• Develop positive relationships with Governmental regulatory agencies and CLR's employees, and contractors.

• Gathers samples from a variety of projects, following regulatory procedures.

• Contractor Management: Supports local efforts in contractor safety management, plays a lead role in contractor communication and coordination as assigned, supports operations in pre-qualification efforts of vendors, conducts or participates in contractor safety meetings, communicates findings and field level observations to Supervisor for action, and supports Drug and Alcohol testing programs.

• Field-based H&S Support: Provides visible field-based H&S support to assigned regional field operations, assists Supervisor in coaching and mentoring of personnel, supports maintaining day-to-day focus on meeting H&S requirements, works collaboratively to achieve goals and targets, participates in H&S meetings and specialized initiatives, assists in addressing H&S technical questions.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a HR manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with with HRIS - Workday.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Job Summary

This role oversees and coordinates the activities of the contract electricians responsible for executing all electrical work in the field.

Performs a wide variety of tasks; contributes to process improvements. Acts as a resource for team members with less experience. Duties and Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of company operated primary and secondary volage electrical systems to ensure that they are performing safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Evaluate and correct system issues at facilities, as well as well sites to ensure continuity of critical operations
• Promotes and provides a safe environment as it pertains to all CLR HSE policies.
• Performs and coordinates inspections on existing electrical sites to ensure electrical safety/code compliance.
• Generates work orders and closes orders as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of ten (10) years of electrical experience
• Texas Journeyman License (TDLR)
• Due to the known H2S concentration in our area of Permian operations, Monahan's/Permian Basin field employees are subject to being in our respiratory protection program which will require them to be shaven to the OSHA respiratory protection specifications, complete a medical evaluation and be fit tested annually to the type of respirator that they will be responsible for wearing
• Valid Driver’s license with acceptable MVR
• An acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) years of oil and gas experience
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
• Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance.
• Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
• Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
• Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
• Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in the field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
