The facility Privacy/FOIA Officer has oversight for the data governance program and initiatives in the VHA Medical Center or Healthcare System and its supporting catchment area. Job Description:

• You will be part of Storage Services team located across the Asia Pacific region. This team is the 1st level of Storage Engagement Services and is responsible for all storage related technology and project requests from line of business.
• This includes but not limited to initial scoping of requirements, deployment, data migration and provisioning.
• You will be acting as storage SME to provide solution that fulfil business requirements for the duration of the project engagement.
• You will likely be working on multiple projects and be expected to juggle competing priorities, being empowered to make decisions to drive the project forward.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other technology and line-of-business teams to document requirements and deliver project objectives providing regular updates and course corrections as required.
• Plan and manage assigned project scope not limited to project schedule, milestones, dependencies, risks and budget.
• Develop and deliver regular status reports and presentations as they are related to your assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Storage Engineering team members and third-party consultants in the completion of project deliverables
• Design, Build and Deploy storage infrastructure according to Engineering certified solutions and devices
• Coordinate with Data Center / Network team for rack assignment and network cable patching for new device installation
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Application owner to plan and schedule a change window for migration
• Attending Change Advisory Board meeting to present the change details and risks to all the stake holders
• Responsible for asset life cycle management and ensure inventory up to date
• Support day to day storage provisioning requests

Required Skills:

You will expect to run large enterprise storage infrastructure deployment projects, sometimes several at the same time. You will have to drive for getting things done, spotting unknown dependencies and proactively circumventing issues before they arise.

You need to have a creative mindset and must be able to identify and prioritize business and operational needs. You must be great at communicating and influencing, ensuring the most favorable outcome for your project deliverables.

It would be beneficial if you were familiar with enterprise storage or having worked on various enterprise storage deployment or migration projects previously.

You will expect to work at highly regulated environment, must have the passion to drive and to take on additional responsibilities outside your immediate scope of work as required.

Desired Skills:

• Minimum 10+ years or more relevant work experiences specialize in large enterprise data storage spanning across multiple countries
• Willing to work after business hours on weekday and weekend

Key Responsibilities:

Governance

• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams and assist in audit planning.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification(s)

Relevant Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk Management, or Compliance, preferably in a higher education or similar environment.
• Experience with IT security audits and compliance reviews in regulated industries.
• Experience with vendor security assessments and managing third-party security risks.
• Experience in security awareness training and working in cross-functional teams.

Knowledge Required

• Security Frameworks: ISO 27001, CTM, NIST, CIS controls, and their application in operational environments.
