• Perform customer service help desk duties.

• Build and maintain relationships as the primary OCIO point of contact for the system owner (SO), program manager (PM), and Information System Security Officer (ISSO) of each assigned FBI IT system; ensuring the SO, PM and ISSO adhere to the FBI's cybersecurity program and policies, that security best practices are followed, and that baseline configurations are established for each system.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessment and authorization processing, compliance monitoring, and guide system owners and ISSOs through the security assessment and authorization process of RMF.

As a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems), you will:

• Make recommendations on how to take advantage of automated system capabilities. Assist in solving business issues and implementing organizational and procedural changes and provide advice and guidance to management officials on a variety of complex business problems as they relate to automated HR systems and reports.
• Troubleshoot HR System problems which involves direct testing and reviewing reports of sensitive employee HR data to ensure appropriate functioning and accuracy of data flow from one system to another such as the NFC payroll system.
• Determine the need to elevate system (e.g., HR Connect, ITM, webTA) issues to Treasury's HR Connect Program Office (HRCPO), ITM Program Office, Kronos, Fiscal Service ISS team, system security team/ISSO liaison, or other business partner. Major Duties:

• Serves as a FOIA expert in the Regional Office or an Area Office, ensuring that requests are processed in accordance with FOIA and Privacy Act regulations, as well as internal procedures.
• Acts as liaison between the Area Offices, the OSHA National Office, and the Regional and National Solicitors' Offices with regard to interpretation of FOIA issues.
• Responds to FOIA requests region-wide; requests the appropriate computer reports to obtain the requested information; reviews all applicable regulations to determine appropriate exemptions to be used; and redacts documents according to the regulations.
