We are looking for talented, dedicated people to join our Employability team in West Bromwich, The hours are full-time, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
As a Progression Job Coach, you will work with a caseload of Participants referred to our Restart Scheme for support with preparing for, securing, and succeeding in work. Our Progression Job Coaches build great relationships and gain a deep understanding of the aspirations and challenges facing their Participants. They then work with them to plan and execute a tailored journey into employment, helping them to remove barriers and maintaining their motivation.
To achieve this, you’ll need to be a great communicator, and enjoy meeting and working with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and with diverse needs. You’ll also need to be able to combine an organised, methodical approach with creative problem-solving skills. The job can be tough, so resilience and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential. The ability to challenge and motivate others is also an important part of the role, as is decent knowledge of the local labour market.
