Production Operatives - AD Hoc
Rate of Pay: £12ph
Location: East Kilbride

We are seeking Production workers who are available for ongoing and Ad Hoc shifts as and when needed. Some production experience would be beneficial. Have to be available for immediate starts so please apply if you have that kind of availablity. This is a temporary role with an opportunity to get shifts on a regular basis and potentially go permanent with client.

Monday - Saturday with rest day in between 6am until finish (any time 3.30pm-5pm)

This is a very fast paced production factory with some manual labour involved so would need someone able bodied and used to working at a fast pace.

The job involves packing drink products ready for dispatch to the shops and supermarkets.

Someone with production/labouring experience would fit this role.

DUTIES

• Understand teams’ weaknesses and strength and highlight key areas for training and improvement

• Ensure all equipment is fit for purpose; reporting and escalating if equipment needs replaced or repaired

• Management of team’s holidays and timekeeping, updating and editing systems to ensure accurate recording of hours worked

• Maintain excellent standards in all aspects of production

• Ensure conformance to all Standard Operating Procedures for the production line

• Takes action when processes are not running well, identifies issues and relays to maintenance staff, prioritizing tasks

• Work across departments to deliver plant improvements and contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives

• Work as a good team member, supporting others and sharing knowledge
