Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research and identify social media trends, insights, and best practices.
• Develop social media strategies aligned with business goals together with the marketing manager.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
• Create engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Able to manage the social media calendar and ensure timely publication of content independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to design visuals (statics, video, GIFs) to be posted on online and social media platforms.
• Build and nurture a community on social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
• Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners.
• Able to monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools bi-weekly and monthly, and thereafter suggest and implement immediate action steps where necessary.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize content and improve engagement.
• Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to create cohesive and compelling social media content.
• Able to speak to and coordinate with external partners, influencers, and agencies when necessary with supervision from manager.
• Able to convey content ideas clearly to the local team to share workload or if content needs to be taken on the ground.
• Perform other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Studied Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in social media management, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
• Strong command of English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative and trendy ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Intermediate skills in using creative design tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Capcut etc.)
• Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.

The job is a maternity coverage to manage DNV Maritime’s regional communications activities for the Region South East Asia, Pacific & India. The main responsibilities are:

• Implement the regional communications and marketing strategy, key messages and targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads across DNV Maritime’s product and service categories
• Contribute to the development, execution, and delivery of content across all channels (such as PR, social media, marketing collateral, online publishing, internal comms)
• Support trade shows, conferences and other marketing events incl. invitation management
• Create impactful campaigns following our “digital first” communications strategy with a potential to scale local initiatives globally
• Drive internal and leadership communications across different channels”

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree, preferably in Marketing and Commucations.
• Over 6 years of experience in marketing and business development within multinational companies.
• Multilingual Communication: Fluent in English, both spoken and written
