• Receives inbound products from manufacturers and checks packing slips to ensure that the quantity of product matches the slips and the order placed. Enters and validates product data in the database and releases product for use in the facility.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand, orders, and shipment speeds of various products and manufacturers.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting. Communicates with manufacturers as necessary to provide additional order information.
• Monitors inventory levels continually and runs reports from database to analyze slow-moving products, fast-moving products, and expiration date data.
• Evaluates quantity discrepancies and quality issues, such as damaged products and enters issues into database and contacts manufacturers to identify and resolve the issue and, as necessary, escalates the issue to the Manager, Warehouse Operations.
• Conducts regular cycle counts by developing count lists, providing lists and instruction to Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Associates and other staff, and collecting and validating the count data.
• Manages the storage and outbound logistics of product returns to manufacturers as well as quarantined products. Edits data in the system based on codes.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Manufacturing Representative’s primary functions are to assure manufacturing operations meet the quality system requirements, product is released to sterilization and shipping after review of documentation and assisting Quality engineers with quality issues. This position will also provide training, guidance, and input on quality issues to the manufacturing floor. This position will also audit compliance to the quality policy and procedures. The incumbent will participate in continuous improvement and other plant initiatives as needed in support of business goals. This position reports directly to a Quality Engineer.

HOURS: 7AM - 7PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Performs review of manufacturing documentation

• Releases product to the next stage of manufacturing or shipping

• Follows up on manufacturing issues with appropriate parties

• Perform complete inspection of product according to applicable specifications

• Reports issues to the Quality Engineers and assist as needed with quality related issues

• Document all inspections as required

• Update all reports and databases as required for reporting and tracking purposes

As an Application Engineer – Launch Success, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancements by being responsible for supporting the revenue growth and success of ZEISS by efficiently providing metrology services solutions and support. The Application Engineer is responsible for providing turnkey results for the successful launch of our provided hardware and software solutions. • Consult, primarily at customer location, to ensure the successful implementation and on-going use of ZEISS Scanning solutions in the long term. 

• Develop customer specific training requirements including on-sight workshops, on location training, classroom training based on understanding customer needs to ensure the installed solution is successful.

• Interface with customers engineering, quality and manufacturing team members and shop floor personnel to confirm scope of work and make decisions regarding onsite scope changes and adjust deliverables.

• Be the single point contact for collecting and consulting on relevant CAD data provided by the customer.

• Utilize ZEISS solutions to support customers’ automated scanning and inspection of parts and assemblies.

• Consult with customer to create SOP’s based on experience to increase other team members knowledge and skills.

• Create basic and advanced inspection layouts with reports based on customer requirements.

• Robot cell programming utilizing Virtual Measuring Room (VMR) to program robotic automated scanning process and populate inspection plans.

• Provide customer confidence through accurate and timely deliverables.

• Onsite support, oversight and consultations at customer installations that typically consist of 1-to-2-week engagements to assure successful rollouts and customer satisfaction.

• Onsite troubleshoot issues and take or recommend corrective actions or provide appropriate technical information to CAPTURE 3D or GOM support team for next step actions.

• Technical trade school, or equivalent education/experience or 2 years of technical related experience (inspection, quality control, metrology solutions, CAD/CAM or related type solutions is a benefit).

Pfizer’s Pharmaceutical Sciences Drug Product Supply group is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Quality and Compliance Lead with a focus on GMP principals across our Global Materials Management group.  The successful candidate will ensure the highest level of quality and compliance across all aspects of GMM, collaborating with GMM leadership. The chosen candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements, Pfizer standards and industry best practices. The Quality and Compliance Lead will also play a key role in driving technology and innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the quality and compliance functions.

In this dynamic position, you will spearhead a comprehensive compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with regulatory and Pfizer standards, fostering a culture of excellence, and harmonizing practices for GMM across diverse and geographically dispersed facilities.

You will be responsible for driving compliance related innovation while leading improvement teams/projects, ensuring effective implementations and operational compliance. The candidate will manage global/local trainings and SOPs, including trending and KPI’s of compliance data.

You will work closely with all GMM team members and collaboratively with a vast number of partner lines to support all facets of GMM operations/facilities. Remit will span across both small and large molecule.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

• Interpret and stay updated on relevant regulation and guidelines from health authorities.

• Represent GMM at the Pharm Sci monthly compliance meeting.

• Become Subject Matter Expert (SME) and stay updated on relevant Pfizer Quality Standards (PQS).

• Lead investigations related to materials, facilities, non-conformance, and supplier quality issues.

• Ensure that all processes, documentation, facilities, and products comply with requirements.

• Lead regulatory and internal inspections/audits, collaborating with GMM leaders in addressing any findings and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

• Build and execute a self-inspection program to drive and monitor GMP compliance and identify potential areas for improvement.

• Lead GMM compliance forum and appropriate PQS teams.

• Participate in highly matrixed cross-functional teams with operational leaders to prioritize strategic processes and roadmaps and drive innovation.

• Oversight and support of partner groups working within GMM facilities (i.e. GCS, DPM, GWE).

• Oversight of GMM controlled substance program (DEA & CT Drug Control).

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Compliance

• Set the strategic direction for quality and compliance throughout GMM.

• Assure adherence to established GMP practices with a forward-looking perspective to anticipate and address emerging challenges across the business.

• Sponsor, develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and process knowledge. Measure training effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

• Sponsor, develop, and conduct regular training sessions and awareness programs, assure GMM remains informed about the latest GMP requirements and trends.

• Author, review, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:

• Establish feedback mechanisms to gather input from stakeholders and incorporating insights into continuous improvement initiatives.
