The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone from the food manufacturing industry, but they would consider someone who has worked within a manufacturing environment away from food.

As a Stock & Supply Chain Manager, you will review and manage stock holding of finished and raw material goods while managing suppliers to ensure the company objectives are met.

To give you an idea of how this Stock Control & Supply Chain Manager role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Maintain accurate stock records for finished and raw material goods
• Review minimum stock holding levels for both products
• Ensure and validate regular physical stock checks by the warehouse team
• Highlight stock rotation issues and ensure obsolete and short-dated stock is kept to a minimum
• Investigate stock discrepancies and shortages to determine root causes
