Harrogate, £30,900k DOE, 4-day week

Excellent opportunity to join a food manufacturer in the Harrogate area. The role will include all aspect of ensuring food safety and managing to customer complaints in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are open to considering a food Science graduate with placement experience for this role or a candidate with previous experience at this level.
2 shifts available on permanent days or nights the night shift carries a 20% shift allowance.

The role of Quality Assurance Technician will include:
*Maintaining the company's quality controls, procedures, standards, specifications & policies in line with HACCP, GMP and BRC
*Training and guidance of production operatives to ensure adherence to SOP's
*Undertake microbiological testing on finished products, raw materials, and packaging
*Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
*Prepare samples and complete allergen testing
*Undertake internal and supplier quality audits
*Ensure that all suppliers continue to meet the quality requirements of the company.

Qualifications

Overview of the Role
You will provide a professional administrative service supporting the data cleansing activities of the CPS Programme for the Purchasing work stream. Working with colleagues and suppliers, you will ensure that the master data is accurate, complete and consistent to enable a seamless migration to a new ERP solution.
