What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a talented Teacher of Science to join a highly effective team in our successful school close to the heritage city of Bath.

The successful candidate must be able to teach Science across Key Stage 3 & 4.

The science team comprises nine full-time and four part-time science specialist teachers with responsibility for teaching Years 7 to 13. The department is led by the Director of Science, assisted by the Heads of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. There are 12 dedicated laboratories, 3 of which are part of a new build with an additional classroom space in the new block. The standard of equipment and resources is very high. All full-time members of the department have lessons timetabled in their own laboratory and work with a dedicated technician. There are five part-time technicians.

We are looking for an enthusiastic specialist of Science to join our team from January 2025, or earlier if possible. This role is open to Early Career Teachers or those with more experience.
