(1) As the subject matter expert for logistics, develops, implements and evaluates the logistic goals and priorities for the organization. Advises the command in the area of logistics operations. Directs the maintenance priority of support to unit equipment. Coordinates and ensures the completion of change of command inventories and applicable adjustment documents. Directs, reviews, and makes recommendations on investigations of incidents involving property loss or damage. Manages Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL), Cash Collections, and Statements of Charges for property loss or damage for the organization.

(3) Provides guidance and management for all decentralized logistic funds. These may include secondary stock funds, office supply accounts, transportation funding, and various classes of supply. May serve as the approving official for government purchase card expenditures.

(4) Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. May provide supervision to full time personnel in the S-4 section in the absence of the logistics officer. Directs the work of lower graded employees.

(5) May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community. Provides logistical support for community activities such as parades, celebrations, military funerals, etc. Coordinates with civic officials, club officers and school officials for such things as recruiting activities, communities support projects, natural disaster or civil disturbance planning, use of facilities for training for such things as recruiting for such things as recruiting and security of those facilities.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Sea Logistics Intermodal Key Account Specialist for our office in Birmingham. You will work with the Intermodal team based in Aston, with a focus on operational planning of UK container transport requirements, utilizing the most cost-efficient routing whilst ensuring we deliver excellent service to one of our Key Accounts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning of import moves for key accounts utilizing TOPS operating system.
• Working closely with haulage providers to ensure transport plan is achievable and executed to customers' requirements.
• To be the first point of contact for customers and transport providers.
• Maintain proactive communications with customers both written, verbal and face to face.
• Collate data and produce daily operational reports.
• Ensure that the required levels of operational service are maintained.
• Ensure that completed transport orders are correctly rated and aligned to customer and supplier's agreements, ensuring that any additional costs have been captured and verified as correct.
• Prioritize and action on email correspondences promptly.

Hourly Rate of £12.50 per hour (full time, 39 hours/week)

Please note this is primarily a nights position, but days may be required according to business needs

Please note the role will be predominantly night shifts, with some day shifts as per business demands.

The Conference and Banqueting Logistics Supervisor will provide the Porters department in Conference and Events with the leadership required to maximize guest satisfaction at optimal productivity levels, whilst ensuring all meeting rooms, common hotel areas as well as C&E storages and its associated areas are set according to the business requirement, in a high standard of tidiness, cleanness in safe and secure environment.

You enjoy supervising and delivering events smoothly and efficiently, dealing with guests’ queries and complaints. You will work closely with the management team, deputising in their absence, and working towards creating memorable experiences for our guests and colleagues.
