INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Logistics Operations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage development initiatives that drive continuous improvement across our organization.
This position is located at our West Perth office, and you will report to the Senior Manager, Project and Deployment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage projects and continuous improvement initiatives within Global Logistics Operations, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, quality control, communication, and project closure.
Oversee the production pipelines, supply chain processes, and delivery of Metso’s equipment and machinery to customers.
Manage and analyse operational data, production schedules, and expenses to identify opportunities for enhancing best work performance and efficiency.
Assist in coordinating the gathering and prioritisation of business requirements for GLO Projects.
Coordinate and prioritise requirements for developing processes and systems related to new designs and maintenance schedules.
Lead and support the deployment, change management and training of processes and tools across Global Logistics Operations and beyond to improve operational capabilities.
Provide support for end-to-end management and capability development throughout the Global Logistics Operations organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Substantial experience in project management within the mining or mineral processing industry.
Strong understanding of equipment and machinery design, construction, and maintenance.
Substantial experience using SAP, CRM, MES, and API
A proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability
Great influencing skills and a proactive and independent approach.
Excellent verbal and technical written communication skills.
Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Sound understanding of procurement and project planning practices
