Salary Information: The salary range for Dallas, TX (DAL - Dallas Love Field) is $42,995 to $60,002 or $20.60 to $28.75 per hour and includes locality pay of 26.91%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). About the role:

The Application Security Testing Engineer reports to the Senior Manager and assists with the security testing activities for BMO based applications. The role will be responsible for the execution and coordination of Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST), provides information security consulting services (SAST/DAST Scanning) for BMO overall and businesses/groups. Liaises with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities and enables BMO to meet its goals by understanding business vision, objectives and KPIs. Participates in the execution of information security strategy.

What will you do:

• Subject Matter Expertise - Provides technical leadership to business areas as a Security Testing subject matter expert. Assists with efforts on the execution of security testing operations to include pre-engagement (scoping), engagement (testing) and post-engagement activities (reporting).
• Secure Testing - Assists in delivery of security testing projects according to a structured process, to include writing test reports. This may include oversight and/or execution of the configuration and deployment of security testing software and application of results to security analysis.

What you need to succeed:

• Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Hands-on experience with dynamic application security (DAST) tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc. Hands-on experience with static source code analysis (SAST) tools.
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C#, JAVA, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python etc.) and can code with little oversight
• Knowledge of different rapid development processes, e.g. Waterfall, Agile, etc.

Responsible for a variety of customer service and security related duties that include providing information and assistance to visitors, employees, and staff; patrolling areas to detect security, safety and/or fire hazards; securing buildings; enforcing parking regulations; controlling access to buildings and parking lots; responding to calls for service; and assisting local authorities in times of emergency.

• Must pass a ½ mile run under six (6) minutes within a maximum heart rate assessment in order to respond to an emergency from one side of the campus to the other and be capable of rendering assistance
• Report equipment malfunctions that could have adverse impact to security, safety or operations
• Deter criminal activity, misconduct and safety violations
• Interact with ERCOT employees, contractors and visitors at ERCOT facilities with courtesy and professionalism
• Be available to provide security services at other ERCOT locations as needed
• Compose reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Requires minimum 2 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
• Requires minimum 2 years physical security experience or 4 years combined experience in either law enforcement, security, corrections or military capacity
• Prefer minimum 2 years experience working in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)

Salary and level will be based on overall experience as determined by ERCOT.

What you will do

The responsibility of the Building System Surveyor is to support Johnson Controls Building Solutions security sales associates in performing on-time and accurate customer site surveys and develop security equipment estimate and project design deliverables in support of the Center of Excellence Network. At a local branch level this pre-sales support role will work together with COE Application Engineers while proactively maintaining local jurisdiction familiarity, sub-contractor relationships and a working knowledge of the core JCI security product offering.

The Building System Surveyor performs a critical function as part of the Global COE network to ensure that JCI security seller’s pre-sale needs are met through a focus on high quality collaboration, professional on-site assessments, and by adhering to a standardized process and deliverables. 

How you will do it

• Conduct timely and accurate security survey and on-site equipment assessments at the local branch level to meet pre-sale support request needs.

• Coordinate locally with sub-contractor representatives to obtain project bid quotes and pricing proposals in support of pre-sales proposal generation.

• Complete and deliver COE survey documentation and deliverables utilizing appropriate platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Office 365, SharePoint, ArcSite).

• In coordination with COE application engineers, review project costing estimates with local installation or operations management before submittal of completed deliverables to sales.

• Strict adherence to standardized processes and completion of deliverable documentation (site survey forms, floorplan drawing with device placement, etc)

• Maintain a strong familiarity with local sub-contractor resource availability and competencies.

• Proactively monitor and track AHJ local expectations, regulations and permitting requirements.

• Support sales to provide installation/operations with pre-installation scope of work debrief to aid in a smooth hand-off to installation personnel.

Leidos Security currently has an opening for a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) in San Antonio, Texas.  Leidos develops and integrates high-end intelligence and defense solutions that support a wide range of government customers.  The person selected for the position will be responsible for the continued certification of secure facilities and systems in accordance with the Cognitive Security Authority’s direction.  

As a recognized CSSO with Intelligence Community customers the selectee must demonstrate knowledge in all disciplines of industrial security to include program, personnel, and physical security.  The individual selected will serve as the primary functional security representative for this Leidos location.  The selectee must be a self-starter and have ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of onsite security management of the facility to include direct support to programs and staff for physical security, access control, alarm maintenance and response, subcontractor oversight, and document control/maintenance of classified equipment inventories.

• The selectee is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.   

• Assist with maintaining an operational Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), support classified meetings; perform security incident inquiries and periodic self-inspections.

• Able to understand and communicate various customer personnel security clearance processes to employees and management.

• Daily interaction with the contract security guard force, ensuring access control and visitor control procedures are communicated, understood, and followed.

• Conduct initial, refresher, and termination security briefings in addition to foreign travel and other specific briefings as required.

• Review, assess, and implement necessary revisions to the SCIF Standards, Practices and Procedures (SPP) and associated internal procedures for the assigned SCIF or other classified facilities according to guidance from the Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) and applicable federal regulations such as IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705, other applicable ICDs or the NISPOM.

• Oversee system for controlling and tracking classified information to include properly receiving, marking, storing and transmitting electronic and hard copy documentation in accordance with customer requirements.  

• As a Prime Contractor, process, update, and maintain customer required security documentation for subcontractors

• Candidates must be able to successfully interact with executive leadership as well as all other levels of employees and customers and must possess the ability to perform complex security tasks independently and in a team environment while delivering measurable results. 

• Candidates must be able to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment accounting for routine and ad-hoc support requests while ensuring compliance with established company and government policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in SCIF administration, policies and procedures.

• Broad knowledge base and ability to apply knowledge to solve complex security problems.

• Possess mature organizational skills, an ability to prioritize tasks, flexible to changing priorities and can perform in a multi-tasked fast paced environment.

• Thorough understanding of DOD and IC personnel security requirements and ability to apply Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and NISPOM guidance to the facility’s security plans and procedures.

• Possess knowledge of Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with all levels of personnel and management

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years related work experience or additional experience in lieu of degree.
 

Clearance Requirements: ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph
