Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group`s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Marketing & PR Professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to lead the delivery and executions of omni-channel marketing & PR activities in the UK and Ireland, based in our offices in Woking.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Marketing:

• Lead the delivery, adaptations and amplification of corporate marketing campaigns

• Manage the annual media plan for UK&I

• Coordinate the adaptation and delivery of key B2C and B2B2C assets across the region

• Be the local guardian of the brand equity and ensure perfect brand executions across all channels

• Be the point of reference for the global marketing team and proactively provide feedback to ensure future materials are fit for purpose in UK&I

• Ensure gathering of consumer insights, benchmark analysis and trends to be shared with global marketing team on regular base

• Own the Marketing & Communications budget, including agency/vendor management

PR:

• Responsible for developing the annual communications strategy and execution, with a special focus on increasing end consumer awareness.

• Organize key industry or brand events (virtual and/or live) within the local market

• Help identify, select and manage the relevant agency partners

• Identify and negotiate contracts with local brand ambassadors in line with the global team

• Hold key relationships to trade and lifestyle media in the local market

• Propose local partnership ideas to drive brand awareness and value

• Work on local adaptation of PR & Communications Tool Kits incl. all materials within given deadlines (press releases, press kits, quotes, talking points, presentation, scripts and picture/video materials) and prepare & create PR tool kits for local activations/projects

• Manage the media reporting for Explora Journeys and competitor brands



QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
profile:

• You will have minimum of 8/ 10 years’ experience in a similar Marketing/Brand/PR Role preferably in the Luxury or Luxury Hospitality/Travel Industry

• Have the knowledge of the codes of luxury and bring an extensive media network within the luxury and preferably the travel industry (as well as previous media training)

• You will have a proven track record of organizing luxury events

• You would have experience with the execution and amplification of omni channels marketing & PR campaigns

• You know the role of paid media, KPIs associated 6.You set yourself apart through your personal accountability to deliver with excellence

• It is essential that you are structured, well organized and know how to navigate in a matrix organisation

• Openness to travel up to 20% of the time mostly nationally occasionally internationally.

Fundraising / Charity Marketing & PR Co-Ordinator

Brook Street is delighted to be representing an established charity that specialises in fundraising & raising the profile of those affected by cancer in the UK.

Working as part of small team, the successful candidate will support the development of new and innovative ways to launch new events and generate PR opportunities.

We're looking for somebody upbeat with a genuine interest in charity work & fundraising, coupled with the strong administration skills required as part of this role.

Duties include:

• Working with the PR & Communications director to respond to press enquiries
• Manage media and coverage through internal and external sources
• Draft press releases with the PR team, inputting them on the charity website
• Draft blog content, emails & social media content
• Liaising with social media connections and partner charities
• Update the media page on the charity website, including specific areas of fundraising and awareness
• Create invites and pack merchandise for events
• Control email signatures and phone content in line with charity brand guidelines

Due to the nature of the charity and its mission, all paid staff are expected to take part in fundraising events during weekends throughout the year. Time in lieu is given, so this opportunity would suit somebody who enjoys raising awareness & money for charity!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a not-for-profit organisation with a clear purpose and vision and develop your PR career as a co-ordinator.

Purpose The post holder will be responsible for the operational delivery of the Communications and Engagement function for Children and Family Health Surrey (CFHS) and support for the services Transformation Programme. They will directly line manage others within the communications team and will be responsible for their performance and development. The post holder will ensure communications with staff, patients/service users and their carers, staff, national and local media, MPs, partner organisations, other stakeholders, and board members are co-ordinated, effective and professional. They will advise Directors, senior leadership and senior management teams on the communications and engagement framework designed to support the organisations vision and delivery of its strategic plans and to enhance and maintain the organisations reputation. They will influence and shape effective and long term internal and external communication strategic plans at all levels through the development of policies and systems designed to optimise two-way communications between the organisation and its internal and external stakeholders. Principal duties General: To lead the communications function for CFHS, provide senior level counsel and training, and lead and manage more junior members of the communications team To develop a good understanding of the services strategy and business priorities. To devise communication strategies/plans, policies and initiatives designed to encourage key enabling relationships, remove barriers and enhance the reputation of CFHS To ensure effective delivery of internal and external communications plans, including directing the work of others in the communications team as their line manager To ensure that existing and future service users and the general public recognise CFHS as a high quality provider of community healthcare To ensure that media coverage of the service is overwhelmingly positive and that any potentially negative coverage is handled in such a way as to minimise reputational risk To provide communications advice to the senior management team, managers, clinicians and other staff, particularly around sensitive and high profile issues that could affect the reputation of CSH To develop and manage the services brand and identity and an act as a brand ambassador and guardian Responsible for the CFHS communications budget The post-holder will be in possession of highly complex, confidential and sensitive information and must be able to work in an autonomous, confidential and calm way in managing this information appropriately The post-holder will often have to deal with difficult messages and hostile audiences, including in presentations, in a way that promotes the service values and behaviours with regard to respect, openness and challenge The post-holder will spend significant time with senior managers and clinicians within CFHS and must be able to influence discussion and debate and, when appropriate, ensure that colleagues understand the likely impact of their plans on key stakeholders Act as a role model to team members in leadership and engagement demonstrating the childrens service values consistently so this is well-led and embedded throughout the service To deputise for the Head of Communications and Engagement in their absence.
