An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Quality Analyst to join the University on a permanent basis.
This role is part of the statutory returns team, which is responsible for the external reporting of accurate data in accordance with HESA and SFC. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the quality and managing key information assets, aimed at improving the overall data and data governance maturity of the University. This includes the collection, audit and validation of data, applying both internal data quality processes and ensuring compliance with the HESA and SFC data collection rules. A key part of the role of the team is the analysis of the returns, impacts on the University and the presentation of management information.
The postholder will have an in-depth understanding of the lifecycle, structure and appropriate use of student data to provide expert advice and recommendations to inform management decisions and support a wide range of data users. They will be a source of advice and experience in business processes and technical understanding of specific areas and provide recommendations within professional guidelines to meet service requirements.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
