Richmond and Wandsworth Adult Social Services are looking for an experienced qualified Social Worker within the Wandsworth side of the Preparing for Adulthood Service.This service consists of Social Workers and Social Care Assessors who are co-located with Children’s Services to ensure a smooth transition between the two.The service’s focus is to provide a holistic, personalised, strength-based service to residents between the ages of 18 to 25 who have physical, sensory, learning and mental health disabilities.

About the role

As a qualified Social Worker you will be required to:

• undertake assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
• work in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
• apply social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.
• work closely with Childrens Services to ensure there is no gap in provision for young people on turning 18.

Candidates must have post qualification experience along with a good knowledge of relevant legislation and local authority responsibilities in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. You must have good communication, decision-making and time management skills.

Safeguarding adults is a priority to Richmond and Wandsworth Social Services and you will receive specialist training and close supervision from a member of the management team to develop this area of your practice.

The postholder will take responsibility for: 1. The Opportunity

You will take primary responsibility for managing Parliament's Enterprise Architecture repository (currently OrbusInfinity) working with teams across Parliament to ensure that the data in the repository is up to date and generating outputs to the support the wider work of the Enterprise Architecture team and the Digital Steering Groups.

The Enterprise Architecture team is part of the Office of the CTO. Providing operational management and high-quality clinical supervision to qualified psychologists in Psychiatric Liaison, under the guidance of the Strategic Lead. To provide specialist consultation, assessment and formulation for priority cases identified by psychiatric team colleagues. Lead on, design and provide brief and longer-term psychological interventions, in line with PLAN, CORE 24 and BPS guidelines. Work with the SIM panel to reduce urgent care service use for those identified, using psychological formulation, treatment and care planning interventions. The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect with experience of supporting integrated workplace management systems (or similar e.g. facilities management) to bring their technical skills to the heart of democracy to help make Parliament happen.

The Solutions Architect is a key role within the Workplace Management Service Team, reporting into the Head of Integrated Workplace Management.

This post is an exciting opportunity to join us in the Oncology Department at The Royal Free Hospital. The post will have both an outpatient clinic and research component and will also support the Acute Oncology Service (AOS) at the RFH site. The post is available from August 2024 for a period of 12 months.

This post would be most suited to an applicant with an interest in pursuing Oncology as a career and who wishes to gain further experience in the field to strengthen their chance of success in National Recruitment to the specialty, or to an applicant pursuing a CESR route of Oncology training.

The post holder will work directly with Consultant Medical and Clinical Oncologists, the AOS nursing staff, Oncology Specialist Trainees and junior grade doctors in assessing and managing patients presenting with acute oncology presentations. The successful applicant will also have exposure to oncology out-patient clinics, SACT prescribing, clinical trials and radiotherapy planning.


Experience in Oncology at IMT2 level or above would be desirable, however, it is not essential and the work commitments will be adjusted to that of a more junior, or more senior level. Experience in Internal Medicine at IMT2 or equivalent level is required.


The Royal Free is a major centre for both common and rarer cancers including Hepatobiliary Cancer, Neuroendocrine Tumours, Melanoma and Renal Cancer. Clinical and Medical Oncology work closely with each other and with other teams in the hospital to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer. The successful applicant will have broad exposure to the management of malignant disease. The post holder will have exposure to all forms of systemic anti cancer therapy including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and TKIs, and will be supported to become an independent prescriber. There is an active clinical research programme and a wide portfolio of clinical trials supported by research nurses, and the post holder would be expected to contribute to the portfolio of ongoing research, audit and quality improvement projects within the department, and will be supported to present data at national/international meetings.


The department has an active postgraduate teaching programme and the incumbent will be expected to attend teaching sessions on Thursday mornings and Friday lunchtimes. The post holder will have named clinical supervisor and be expected to maintain an e portfolio. Protected study leave and budget (equivalent to ST3 trainees) is available to support the post holder to attend educationally approved courses.

Clinical To provide specialist psychological assessments to children who are referred to the Team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the child or young persons care. To support the development of the PRU-CAMHS service, through specific service development projects, in collaboration with the wider PRU staff groups and CAMHS colleagues. To formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of the mental health problems of children and young people who are based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of their problems, and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy across the full range of care settings. To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological and psycho-educational interventions for individual children, carers, families and groups, within and across teams including community settings employed individually and in synthesis, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses. The Tower Hamlets Persistent Pain service is a specialist community based pain service located within Bart’s health hospitals, providing for adults living with persistent pain. Our team of professionals offer effective treatment and strategies to help patients manage their pain and improve their quality of life.

An exciting opportunity has come available for an experienced clinical psychologist to join the expanding outpatient Therapies services and work collaboratively with the existing Clinical Lead of the Tower Hamlets Persistent Pain Service (PPS) multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be jointly responsible for the strategic leadership of the Persistent Pain Service, working closely with the MDT pain service across Barts, the Head of Musculoskeletal Therapy, pain consultants, professional Lead for Clinical Health Psychology, commissioners, and user groups.
