The Audit Clinical Support Lead (CSL) is required to assist and support the performance of employed Health Professionals who undertake PIP clinical audit. What you will need to do the role:

- HP (Doctor, Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic) with a minimum of two years post registration experience.

- Approved and proficient in either PA3 or PA4 audit.
- Previous experience as an Audit CSL as well as managing, coaching and mentoring teams.

The role of this Personal Care Assistant:

Our personal care assistants join our client’s support team, providing reliable, essential care and support in their home. You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to support them only. This role is to cover 43 hours a week and can be offered as one full-time position or 2 part-time positions. About the Client and Duties:

Our client is an active man in his 30’s who sustained a severe traumatic brain injury when he was a teenager. He has made excellent progress with his recovery and has full capacity. Whilst he does tasks around his home independently, he requires some support in his daily activities such as shopping, cooking, organisation and accessing the community. There is no personal care involved or any moving and handling.


Lunch and dinner are provided while on shift and you will prepare meals with our client and eat together. Our client is very fond of cooking and eating good quality food so a shared interest in this would be beneficial. You will accompany/support our client to social outings including gigs and restaurants which are paid for. There will also be the need for some of our clients care team to accompany him on holidays in the UK and abroad.


Training and Support -

We provide comprehensive, paid training to CQC standards covering:

Clinical

The reception, diagnosis and emergency treatment of patients presenting to the adult Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be given supervision and support from senior medical staff to develop competency in the autonomous clinical management of these patients whilst ensuring patient safety. This post is based in the adult Emergency Department and no sessions will be undertaken in the paediatric Emergency Department.

There is close liaison between ED and ICU at BRI. Patients referred to Specialist Units within the hospital are the responsibility of that specialist team, who will see the patient in the Emergency Department and arrange appropriate care. However, medical and nursing staff in the ED are responsible for any emergency care necessary. This shared care is seamless and collaborative.

The management responsibility of the post holder will be to the Clinical Director who is responsible to the Chief Executive and Trust Board. .
