Cheshire and Merseyside Adult Gender Identity Collaborative (CMAGIC) is a new NHS England pilot, establishing how Gender Incongruence can be best treated within a Primary Care setting. We are seeking a specialist nurse to support the delivery of this care and they will work closely with our MDT, local GP's, relevant partner agencies and of course directly with service users.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing not only a new service, but a new way of delivering care for a disadvantaged service user group. The role will likely involve travel, so a car user is essential.

To provide direct, clinical nursing care to the service users of the Cheshire and Merseyside Adult Gender Identity Collaborative (CMAGIC). This will involve direct and indirect care of services users of CMAGIC and an ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a wider team is essential. To be able to manage a caseload of patients and support patients throughout their journey.

Principal Responsibilities
• Provide direct clinical nursing care to CMAGIC service users
• Obtain bloods for routine screening
• Deliver deep Intramuscular injections of GRNH analogues in line with clinical standards and profiles
• Interview, assess and monitor the wellbeing of service users under direct care of CMAGIC utilising biopsychosocial principals
• Support the delivery of treatment from colleagues
• Understand role of, engage and refer to partner agents as appropriate
• Maintain up to date knowledge of clinical issues and developments in the treatment of Gender Incongruence
• Maintain record keeping in line with professional and Trust standards
• Be an active member of MDT
• To deliver training
• Caseload managment
• Engage in regular supervision and PACE reviews
• Undertake and participate in research and audit as relevant to role and service objectives
• Be aware of and adhere to Trust policies and procedures which are applicable to the role
• Complete risk assessments and ensure that risks are identified and reported as they arise
• Undertake appropriate training and act as a clinical mentor within the service. Support students and other learners in achieving learning outcomes by providing a learning environment with opportunities for observation and training

About The Role
**This is a Night role working 8pm-8am**
Reporting to the Home Manager, the Care Team Leader at HC-One will provide leadership and direction to the care staff within the home. As Care Team Leader you will lead by example, ensuring that all residents have their individual care needs adhered to at all times.
As a Care Team Leader you will be a team player and have good communication skills. Kindness will be second nature to you. You will have a keen eye for detail, always act with integrity and be driven by the principles of fairness. You will behave in a transparent manner always showing respect to our residents, their families, and your colleagues. You will also hold SVQ Level 3 in Adult Care and have previous experience of working in elderly and dementia care.

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a Locum Paralegal (Child Social Care), on a 4-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.40- £22 per Hour

Responsibilities:

To carry out casework instructions received from lawyers and have personal responsibility for assisting with the progress of cases ensuring value for money and efficient use of resources.
Provide support such as issuing applications, obtaining and organising documentation to meet the requests of the court, providing support to clients, assisting with the creation of bundles.
Responsible for the filing of such documentation within proceedings.
To ensure effective diary management to ensure that court directions are complied with in a timely manner.
To assist with the drafting of legal documents / applications as required.
To deal with straightforward casework and, where required, appear at court/tribunals on behalf of the Council ensuring that the Councils position is represented in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
Prepare reports, documents, minutes and correspondence on behalf of lawyers, taking notes at meetings/hearings as required.
Plan and prioritise allocated work efficiently.
To pick up casework arising in their respective teams during peak times or where additional resources are required to meet demand.
To provide support to other teams if requested to do so.
To work flexibly and collaboratively with their own team and across the wider legal service as required.
To have responsibility for ensuring that support staff undertake tasks allocated within set timescales.
Ensure effective operational use of all service resources by regularly reviewing working methods, systems and equipment.
To assist with the collection of data/information to support the Senior Lawyers and Heads of Law.
To proactively maintain and improve client relationships.
To act in accordance with and promote the Nolan Principles in the council.
To externally commission legal work for the Council where required, ensuring value for money and high-quality advice and representation is received.
To keep up to date with current and future law and practice affecting the Council.
To be flexible with regards to working hours to ensure that service needs and client requirements are met.

Qualifications

Law Degree, CFILEX (or working towards the same) or demonstrable experience of working within a legal environment
