Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (pro rata) - dependent on experience. Plus Welcome Bonus £3000.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Full time and part time considered.
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Clinical Team, working as a key integrated member of our clinical and education team at Acorn Park School based in the Norwich. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision for the school include providing support and training to staff and parents.

Essential Criteria:
Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, educational)
BABCP or NCPC registered, plus HCPC where applicable
Minimum of Level 7 qualification or Level 5 qualification plus adequate and relevant experience
Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialty
Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
