To deliver on-going developmental, education and training programs for all pharmacy staff. Designing and implementing appropriate teaching, learning and assessment plans to support trainee pharmacists, in line with local, regional and national agendas. Undertake audits and engage with Quality Improvement and practice research projects As a Practice Educator, work within realms of specialist therapeutic knowledge and experience and teach therapeutic topics as well general areas of pharmacy practice, as applicable The post holder will contribute to teaching on the new University of Bath MPharm delivered at the University of Plymouth: Practice Educators will work in two different workplaces: clinical pharmacy practice (hospital) and the University of Plymouth campus. To make this arrangement work there is recognition from both workplaces of the for flexibility. The university workload is driven by term dates and the preferred arrangement is for Practice Educators to work the equivalent of 0.5 WTE on the following basis:- 3 days a week during term time- 2 days a week outside of term time Most of the teaching is timetabled for 9am 5pm but may be timetabled up until 7pm. Therefore, Practice Educators will need to be available between 9am and 5pm with occasional flexible working to cover timetabled late sessions. Annual leave should be taken outside of term time where possible.

Person Specification for the post of TAVI training fellowship (Registrar Grade) This post would be suitable for a senior trainee reaching the end of (or completed) sub speciality training in PCI whose aim is to achieve full independence as a TAVI operator The successful candidate must have or be eligible for full GMC registration Essential requirements are good team working, organisation and communication skills Evidence of higher training in cardiology is essential and extensive experience of percutaneous intervention is a requisite On-call commitment Cardiology registrar on-call rota is a 1:11, full shift rota. No requirement to take part on the on-call rota but the post would provide flexibility depending on the appointees training requirements. Education The Fellow is expected to participate in the educational activities of the team, train the more junior members of the PCI/TAVI team and medical students attached to the firm. Research The department has ongoing multi-centre trials and has undertaken original research projects. The Fellow will be expected to spend at least one session a week engaging in research projects with a view to achieve publications and presentations at meetings. Audit The Fellow will be actively involved in audit within the directorate and report on audit projects at the local and regional audit meetings.

To provide radiographic clinical leadership to research activity within the SW region which includes working with the Academy, imaging network colleagues, Trust staff and the private sector to develop, pilot and introduce software and artificial intelligence products into clinical practice. To be responsible for delivering high quality, effective research and investigations in the field of diagnostic imaging and cancer care, particularly in the development of artificial intelligence, providing and presenting reports and writing articles to the highest professional standards as required. To undertake a lead role in planning, co-coordinating, delivering, developing and evaluating artificial intelligence products in clinical services across the SW region, working with diagnostic imaging staff in multiple sites to deliver improved services to all patients including cancer patients. This is an autonomous and self-directing research role with a requirement to work flexibly to deliver the emerging diagnostic imaging research and AI in imaging agenda. This will include travel to other NHS sites across the region, other regional and national venues requiring either appropriate business car insurance or willingness to travel by public transport. To work with the SW universities and Trusts to develop a comprehensive research development and training offering to all diagnostic imaging and related staff, to be delivered by the SWITA. To proactively promote a culture of learning and the adoption of new technologies across the diagnostic imaging workforce in the SW regions imaging departments. To work collaboratively with health and IT leads across the Trusts as appropriate and promote the role of research and artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging to all stakeholders.
