We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for our partner secondary school in Nottingham, NG18.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support students in overcoming barriers to learning in a supportive and centrally located school!
- Student Support: Provide active support to students underperforming or with identified special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Individual and Group Assistance: Offer 1-1 and small group support, ensuring students can access learning material and understand their specific needs.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, supportive relationships with the students, offering effective guidance.
- Progress Monitoring: Ensure students' social, emotional, and academic progress by keeping track of their development and maintaining effective records of mentoring activities.
- Communication: Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and relevant agencies involved with the students.

Learning Support Assistant| Nottingham - NG16 | £90 - £105 Per Day | ASAP Start | Long Term Role

Supportive SLT | Immediate Start | 1:1 SEN Experience

We are looking for a learning support assistant that has previous experience working with primary age students. Your role will mostly consist of providing 1:1 support to students that struggle with academic achievement within a mainstream classroom. Working with SEND students mean that you will form strong bonds with some amazing young learners and every day will be exciting.

Our fantastic partner school is based in NG16 and is well connected to the local area making for a smooth commute via public transport. The school is committed to the best education they can provide daily with a knowledge-centric attitude to learning. This is a full-time role available to start immediately, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver bespoke educational progress plans for SEN students.
- Supporting students with reading, writing and phonics within mainstream classrooms.
- Champion Inclusivity and Equity to create a positive learning environment.
- Implement long term intervention strategies to build on SEN student's educational progress.

The ideal candidate will be:
- Have previous experience working with moderately SEN students in UK schools.
- Comfortable working in both 1:1 and group environments.
- Calm and compassionate when dealing with young learners.
- Enthusiastic about working with SEND students in an educational setting.
