The Training Specialist performs the following major duties:

Description:
The 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron is at the cutting edge of new Space Domain Awareness and Space Command and Control technology. The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to administer, schedule, and conduct flight and ground training which
develops, upgrades, and evaluates the skills of loadmaster aircrew members; to perform aircrew duties as instructor loadmaster in the unit type aircraft and to perform related staff support duties; to train reservists in these duties.

Duties:
1. Develops and provides technical loadmaster upgrade and proficiency training/instruction to Reserve aircrew member and ART personnel.
2. Conducts flight and ground training which develops, upgrades, and evaluates the skills of loadmaster aircrew members.
3. Accomplishes preflight inspection of aerospace ground equipment and applies external power to the aircraft. Accomplishes pre-flight inspection of the aircraft and cargo/airdrop systems according to flight manual procedures. 4. Directs the placement of material handling equipment to accomplish cargo on/off loading operations.

This Master Transportation Security Officer - Security Training Instructor position is located at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Master Transportation Security Officer (MTSO), you will support the airport training program through performance of a variety of training-related functions. In addition to training program responsibilities, you will also perform pre-board security screening of persons, cargo, carry-on, and checked baggage as directed by the Federal Security Director (FSD), or his/her designee, a minimum of 20% of the time. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing training instruction within established guidelines and standards in support of nationally developed training programs (e.g., new hire training, On-Screen Alarm Resolution Protocol, Crossover); supporting recurrent training needs, and conducting return to duty and remediation training.
