We are seeking to appoint a Grade 6 Research Assistant for an externally-funded project examining the use of baby carriers and slings in the UK. The role will involve designing and conducting a systematic review of research evidence, designing and conducting online surveys with families and practitioners, critically evaluating existing guidance and making recommendations. Requirements:
- Worked as a teaching assistant in a school before, or have relevant SEN experience in either healthcare or another sector, which they can transfer over to an education setting.
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff.
- Enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and who have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.
- Able to engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
- Be able to challenge children when they display negative behaviour
- Be a qualified teaching assistant or have a transferable skill
