**Sales Administrator**

Our client are a leading aggregate, haulage and concrete firm, that have been operational for near 100 years.

This role involves managing incoming calls, greeting visitors and performing administrative tasks for the Company. You will also play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the sales department. You will assist with sales related activities, taking orders, pricing enquiries and maintaining records on the Company system, providing excellent customer service and keeping up to date with product knowledge.

**Responsibilities:**

**Reception duties:**


* Greeting and welcoming visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail as well as courier deliveries

**Purchasing & Stock Control:**


* Creating and managing budgets for office supplies, PPE and cleaning materials
* Recording expenses to track spending trends. Monitor spending and identify cost saving opportunities
* Identifying optimal stock levels and keeping them maintained, organised and in good supply
* Maintain and keep accurate records of PPE issued out to staff and regulating the supply to agreed quantities

**Administration duties:**


* Provide support to staff members, including assisting with administrative tasks and assisting with daily office operations
* Responsible for processing invoices for aggregate supplies, meeting end of month deadlines and ensuring the accounts department receive accurate and timely records
* Sort and file any paperwork including PODs for aggregate supply
* Provide support for company events, including setting up any meeting rooms and assisting with any arranging of catering or materials
* Assist with company marketing activities such as events, product launches, promotions or campaigns
* Assist in monitoring company mailboxes entirely responsible for monitoring the info mailbox and shared responsibly for monitoring the sales mailbox

**Sales Support:**


* Assist the Retail Department with customers on the weighbridge, over the phone quotes, preparing sales documents and scheduling bagged and loose deliveries
* Collaborate with the Transport department with quotes for bulk deliveries
* Maintaining and inputting correct data on to the Weighsoft system
* Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products, services and pricing
* Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy of product details, quantities and pricing
* Maintain and update customer databases on the Weighsoft system, ensuring accurate and current information
* Follow up with customers after sales interactions to gather feedback, understand any lost tenders and ensure customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with the sales team to address any customer concerns or issues

Job Purpose / Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) as a Training Instructor at Hinkley Point C (HPC) where we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

The NSA is developing and delivering training programmes across numerous technical areas. This vacancy will be focussing on the Environment training programme within the Technical & Safety area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of key training areas. They must ensure personnel have the required initial knowledge to carry out their roles to a high level. The job holder must ensure accuracy of material, adherence to the training standards / procedures and excellence in quality of delivery.

Principle accountabilities

As a Training Instructor in the NSA you will have the opportunity to make a major impact on the performance of the organisation through the application and delivery of quality training, supporting the NSA skills pool to meet the needs of the business. You will be working closely with HPC personnel to assist in effective knowledge transfer within the workforce, while developing your own skills and forging an exciting future.

The key duties the successful candidate will be required to carry out:

• The development and delivery of training material in one or more of the key training areas
• Support training in classroom or workshop environments, as well as providing coaching and mentoring of trainees to expedite learning
• Act as course coordinator for responsible training areas
• Responsible for leading and delivering training to groups from 1 up to 20 people, depending on the subject and environment
• Communicate with line managers for the successful development of competence within their teams
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for development of material

Knowledge & Skills

Essential:

• HNC or higher-level qualification in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience in a relevant science or engineering-related discipline

⦁ Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process

What you’ll be learning.
A Heavy Vehicle Service Technician will inspect, maintain, and repair large vehicles weighing 3.5 tonnes and over such as HGV's and buses.
• Servicing – carrying out inspections.
• Maintenance – general and preventative maintenance.
• Repairing – repairing/replacing parts.
• Diagnostics – diagnosing faults in the onboard systems.

You will gain a full understanding of the importance of 6-week checks, Operators (O) licence’s and legal obligations and as a technician apprentice, you will receive training to the manufacturer and DVSAs standard.

Training delivery.
In this programme, all aspects of heavy vehicle technology are embedded in this dedicated programme and involves a mix of academic learning and on-the-job training.
• Practical learning in the workplace, shadowing your mentor and carrying out the work while being supervised.
• Online studies, completing workbooks and job cards, attending online sessions and virtual classes with your Development Coach, all done during your working day.
• Attending block release to the Volvo Training Academy in Derby, DE21 7BH every 2 months. All costs of your hotel food and accommodation plus all travel arrangements are covered by the Volvo Trucks.
