This role is responsible for providing a uniformed specialist service and leading a team of Security Officers, including a CCTV Operator, in their duties. Ensuring that patients, visitors and staff are given advice and provided with a safe and secure environment in line with legislation and particularly in emergency situations. This will include communication with emergency services.

The post holder will protect people and property, detecting and preventing crime including operating and controlling access and key control systems.

Fundamental to the role will be dealing with issues regarding challenging particular patients, visitors and staff, where difficult circumstances prevail (e.g. smokers, abuse issues, car park incidents and unwelcome visitors). To manage the duties and conduct of the Security Officers and CCTV Operator during their shift (which may include car parking related activities). English Teacher job - Nottingham

Position: English Teacher
Location: Nottingham-based Secondary School

We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Nottingham who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English teacher to join their team. You will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4. KS5 experience would be desired but not essential. ECTs are welcome to apply. This is a long-term position to start in September for the first term initially, with the potential to extend.

Job Description:

• Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
• Participating in extracurricular activities such as school trips.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
• Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
