You will provide a development and training service to professional social work staff primarily focusing on adult protection and outcomes based social work.

The main duties of the post include leading the development and implementation of staff education and training approaches around protection practice issues, service development and legislation.

It is essential that you have a professional social work qualification at Degree level or above, ideally a Degree in Social Work or a related discipline with a range of professional social work experience to draw on and have been involved in the creation and implementation of staff learning programmes. This post is being offered under Annex 21 for one year to give time for support and development to enable the successful candidate to fulfil the core competencies.

Working in partnership with industry leading Microsoft Gold Partner Azure experts, you’ll be responsible for the continuous development of data warehousing and reporting solutions which the Trust relies upon for the benefit of both its patients and staff.

You will need to have good SQL (SSIS, SSRS and query building) skills, logical reasoning skills, analytics development skills and ideally be experienced in optimising data models and queries. You will be required to gather requirements from our customers and design and develop robust and efficient data products for reporting and analytical uses.

There will be options for home/remote working but the successful candidate will be required to spend time onsite at Conquest Hospital.

With support, the role offers the opportunity to lead on the design, monitoring, maintenance and improvement of current data flows and warehousing processes. The job role will include involvement in the planning and implementation of this process and the post holder will also be responsible for investigating and deploying innovative ways to improve systems.

You will be required to analyse and interpret complex data and develop data engineering solutions to present this data to colleagues across the Trust in ways which are easily understood.
