• Serves as the Deputy Director for the Plans, Training and Modernization Directorate of Distribution Operations, DLA Distribution, Defense Logistics Agency.
• Responsible for the creation and governance of the short- and long-term execution plans as well as contingency planning.
• Improves performance and mission through technology upgrades, coordination, development, and maintenance of logistical business and contingency plans to include supply chain integration, modernization of the network, and the training development.

• You will provide a full range of clerical, administrative and customer services including general administration, office automation and clerical support.
• You will assist in development verification and coordination of student mustering, working with military to obtain needed input.
• You will prepare and coordinate physical storage of necessary directives, (e.g. instructions, notices, letters, and messages).

• Provide input in the preparation of technical and economic feasibility studies for development and presentation of project and budget proposals.

• You will use a financial management system to track expenditures of multiple accounts.
• You will advise managers on financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR) procedures.
• You will compile financial or budgetary information to prepare reports.
• You will evaluate errors or rejects within a financial management system (e.g., Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS), Defense Travel System (DTS), or similar system) to recommend solutions.

• Must be 16 years or older.
• $300 training bonus after completing all training and orientation
• Knowledge of safe swimming rules and regulations.
• Able to protect the life and wellbeing of each person using the aquatics facility at a given time.
• Able to learn, maintain knowledge of and carry out facility-established emergency procedures.
• Able to always keep physically fit and mentally alert to respond to any emergency.
• Able and willing to perform water rescue techniques.
• You will need to attend all staff meetings, orientations, and in-service training.

Qualifications:

• Ellis & Associates Pool Lifeguard Certification (maintained as current throughout employment)
• Able to locate and operate all emergency equipment, including backboard, oxygen and AED
• Able to tow a guest in distress to safety
• Able to successfully complete a swim test consisting of: swimming 200 yards in with a front facing stroke without stopping, treading water for 2 minutes without use of hands, diving feet first to 9 feet, picking up a 10 lb brick and bringing it to the surface while showing that you have control.

Swim Instructor $ 17.53-20.84

• Must be 16 years or older.

• Teach skills that may save a life and will make a huge difference in people's lives.
• Will work with ages six (6) months to senior citizen and teach them how to be safe on, in and around the water.
• Help participants build lifelong safety skills, build strength and endurance for swimming laps, competitively or just for having fun in the water.
• Responsible for providing a safe aquatic experience to all participants.
• Monitor the pool environment and assure that all pool users are safely following pool rules. helping to perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties in the pool and locker room areas.

Qualifications:

• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification (maintained as current throughout employment)
• Able to monitor and maintain the safety of several children at a time, from the point of drop off to pick up.
• Able to safely pickup, hold, and lift a child from the deck and in the water.
• Able to successfully complete a swim test consisting of swimming 25 yards of each of these strokes: freestyle, backstroke, sidestroke, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, swimming 15 yards of butterfly and swimming at least 100 yards without stopping

Allegheny Singer Research Institute seeks a Research Statistician to work in Pittsburgh, PA, and assist research faculty at AHN to design and assess clinical research studies that result in peer reviewed publications and national presentation.  Duties include: 1) assisting research faculty with study design, 2) writing and reviewing statistical analysis plans 3) directing activities of other personnel and providing review of project work of other statisticians 4) assisting with manuscripts and presentations of scholarly work and 5) ensuring that work products meet expectations and are consistent with analysis plans.

This is a hybrid office-based/work-from-home position within the United States. The employee can work remotely from within the United States but must be able to work on-site/in the Pittsburgh office 2 days per week as needed.

Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Statistics or a related field focused on Measurement and Evaluation. Must have 12 months of experience with statistical analysis.

Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) SAS programming; (ii) statistical theory including experimental design, categorical data analysis, analysis of variance (covariance), linear regression, generalized linear mixed model, logistic regression, non-parametric methods, and propensity score matching; and (iii) statistical design, analysis, and programming techniques to effectively communicate statistical concepts.
