Deputy Clinic Manager - Renal Dialysis Unit

Your skill set will be a 1st or 2nd level nurse registered with the NMC with either formal renal nursing qualification or substantial Haemodialysis experience. Additionally, you will also have experience of managing others, counselling patients and understanding the role of the Care Quality Commission.

Frome Dialysis Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 48 patients, in partnership with North Bristol Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA’s on each shift.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 7.00am and 7.00pm Monday to Saturday.

Chandlers Ford Dialysis Unit operates 18 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 90 patients, in partnership with Portsmouth Hospital Trust (Queen Alexandra Hospital) using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio 1:3 patients.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 7.00am to Midnight Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 7.00am to 6.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Customer Care Helpline Coordinator – Home Based

Are you an accurate and efficient individual with Customer Service experience, looking for a role within an organisation where the work you do will really make a difference?

The Role:

As anRemote Case Team Leader,you'll blend expert advice and clinical services with advanced systems to provide outstanding Occupational Health services and support to clients throughout the UK.

Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, as a Team Leader you will ensure clinical excellence in delivering a range of services, ensuring a clear focus is maintained on business objectives, company values, service level agreements and effective relationships

- You will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of a range of employees and use your specialist clinical skills to provide expert assessments and the right solutions to match the client's needs.

- Supporting a team of clinicians by auditing their reports and developing their skills to continuously improve the clinical performance of the OH team.

- Undertaking case management over the phone producing high standard and quality management advice reports.

- Assisting with the recruitment of staff and to support colleagues with all aspects of the recruitment process

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a similar role.

- Qualified or Registered Nurse/RGN

- NMC Registered

- Occupational Health Advisor

- Occupational Health Nurse

- Remote case management

- A diploma or degree in Occupational Health is preferable with experience in a commercial occupational health setting with previous extensive case management and health surveillance experience

The person

This is an exciting opportunity to influence nursing practice and harness the voice of nursing by developing and utilising effective professional relationships between the RCN and relevant national-level external networks and stakeholders such as statutory agencies, professional bodies, providers and commissioners, independent and third sector organisations and public / patient groups.

Whilst this role will be focused on a Mental Health portfolio of nursing there will be a need to deliver pieces of work that span the breadth of nursing and midwifery. Collaboration with other specialist leads will be essential.

To join us you’ll need to be an experienced NMC registered nurse with senior clinical experience preferably within advanced practice.

You will have post graduate education at master’s level. A teaching qualification alongside experience of working at a strategic or national level with multi-professional groups is also desirable.
