As an Academy Physiologist, you'll bring a minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent. You've studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition. Crucially, you know how to apply this in practice.

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital.

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. Exeter is a vibrant cathedral city in the heart of the beautiful county of Devon, situated on the river exe and only 10 miles from the coast. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have an on-site Pathology department as well as a busy outpatient department, health assessment service, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend a training camp, which is scheduled for February 2025.

Your new role
Southend City Council are looking to appoint a permanent children's experienced Mental Health Senior Practitioner to join the Fostering Team.Within this position, hybrid working opportunities are available. However, you are required to be on-site at the Civic Centre a minimum of 2/3 days per week.

The successful candidate will provide foster parents with support systems and monthly group supervision, alongside individual group supervision. They will take the lead in identifying those children scoring high on the annual SDQ and lead on ensuring the creation of management plans for young people with mental health and EHWB needs.They will participate in the CLA forum and CLA Consultations for Southend CLA in conjunction with EWMS provided by NELFT.There will be a need to provide effective and therapeutic assessments and interventions for young people with mental health and EHW needs, who are CLA by Southend City Council.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you must be able to work in the UK, have a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with the Social Work England and have completed your ASYE.

A degree in psychotherapy/counselling and training in therapeutic interventions is desirable but not essential. You will need to have experience in completing and presenting reports for panels, court and other professionals in the child and foster carers professional network.You must have knowledge of relevant psychological theories and be able to apply theory to practice.

Knowledge of child protection, issues affecting children looked after and awareness of welfare rights and understanding of issues of loss/bereavement.

More detail about the role We are a busy 24 bedded emergency surgical assessment unit caring for emergency admissions in the specialities of colorectal, urology and gynaecology including early pregnancy complications. Within the ward we have a separate ambulatory assessment unit, taking admissions from the emergency department and GP referrals and a surgical emergency outpatient clinic and our staff work within all of these areas. Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and updating the stand
Moving parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.


What will I get in return?


Training: Provided in full and you are paid – This will be in December and paid before Christmas
Work: Assignment basis, under own supervision



Travel: Regionally, 50 to 80 miles of your home
Location: Field Based – working in various high street retailers
Hours: 8 hr days

To organise on a weekly basis the pharmacy clinical service provision to the allocated prisons, planning your work and the work of others. To provide clinical services to the allocated prisons. To ensure you personally have high standards of work, both clinical and dispensing and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) as directed by the Lead Prison Services Pharmacist. To work as a team with the pharmacy technician in the allocated prisons and to support this technician professionally when on site. To implement the prison formulary, in collaboration with primary care colleagues. To generate monthly reports on drug expenditure for the allocatedprisons and to advise the prescribers on areas for improvement and efficiencies. To provide clinical screening and final accuracy checks when working in the dispensary. To ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner to meet the requirements of the delivery service across the prisons. To manage the day-to-day work of the pharmacy technician when on site in the allocated prisons. To manage your own time efficiently whilst on prison visits. To undertake scheduled clinical visits to the allocated prisons. On these visits you will: undertake MURs for offenders identified as requiring assistance by healthcare staff. Review the medication history of newly admitted offenders to ensure prescriptions are correct and if necessary make recommendations to bring prescribing in line with local formulary choices.
