Following a successful bid to be a Scottish Government Demonstrator site, we are delighted to expand our offering in Pharmacotherapy to incorporate a new team for high-risk medicine monitoring at NHS Borders. The Pharmacy Department at NHS Borders is seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist to lead on delivery of a new high risk medicines monitoring service. The post holder will work in the primary care pharmacy team to lead on shared care of high-risk medicines and will interface with secondary care specialist teams to ensure best care is delivered to patients close to home.

The post holder should have relevant experience in primary and / or secondary care with good clinical background and have obtained an independent prescribing qualification. The post holder will provide expert advice on medicines to both patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure the use of medicines are both cost effective and meet the needs of the patients.

Job Description:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals within a healthcare setting. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to the people in care.

Health Transport Support Worker
Location: Based at Centura Court, Nasmyth Road, Hillington Glasgow, G52 4PR, with travel around the area.
Hours: 35 per week

A day in the life of a Health Transport Support Worker;

You will work as part of a team responsible for providing discharged patient transport in a safe, comfortable, and sympathetic manner. You'll be an expert driver confident in observing road and driving conditions at all times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Health and Safety Assistant to provide maternity cover within the Biological Sciences safety team.

This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The opportunity has arisen to join the Health and Safety team, to assist with the management of health and safety within the School, working as an integral part of the team to promote high safety standards, engaging with staff and students across the School and taking the lead role for management of radiation safety.
