The successful candidate will be responsible to and work under the supervision of ENT Consultants.The post holder will be expected to participate in the day to day activities of the department in co-operation with the ENT team. To provide a service for Urology to the hospital and community designated with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness. Specialty Doctors are senior members of the Trusts medical staff, and in this role they have responsibility for assisting in the provision of a total Urological service, including supporting the multi-disciplinary weekly meetings and participate in training and education for the junior medical staff, medical students and nurses The post holder will provide a Urological Service to the Medway Foundation Trust. Join the dedicated stroke team at Ashford & St Peters as a Specialist Stroke Doctor, providing high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision and mentorship of experienced doctors, consultants, and a multidisciplinary team. This role involves delivering direct clinical care, assisting in clinical decision-making, and sharing equally in the department's workload to ensure comprehensive senior clinical cover. Key responsibilities include the assessment and management of patients, covering ward rounds, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and stroke and TIA clinics. The specialist doctor will aid consultants in reviewing potential admissions, developing rapid assessment triage strategies, and ensuring timely investigations and patient disposition.
