Your role will be to provide a comprehensive, effective, and timely secretarial support to the SORT Consultants and the MDT. To deliver a high standard of individualised care, which will include the assessment, planning, implementation, review and evaluation of the Personalised Care Framework. This should be in partnership with the service user, carers and multi-agency professionals as appropriate. This requires a complex level of communication in the receiving and transmitting of information to service users, carers, colleagues, the wider service and the general public on an individual or group basis. This will be over a wide range of complex and sensitive issues and will need to take into account barriers to understanding. To act as Keyworker for an identified group of clients using the Personalised Care Framework process and keep all associated paperwork up to date in a timely manner. Professional Development and Education The post holder will undertake a comprehensive induction, mandatory and other essential training as directed by the Livewell Southwest and Unit/Deputy manager. This will include Physical Intervention Training which is essential for this post. Competencies will be identified through personal development needs and appraisal. The post holder will be responsible for their own practice, managerial development and to keep up to date with evidence-based developments in mental health nursing. This will include post registration education and preparation of portfolios for revalidation. The post holders profession will be maintained and support for opportunities and the ways that their skills and knowledge can be used to meet requirements for revalidation will be central to the line management and appraisal process. The post holder will be required to ensure they receive line management support and participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice. The post holder will have the ability to liaise with other services to arrange appointments. The post holder will be responsible for keeping information and resources kept on notice boards up to date. Physical Skills The post holder will have competent keyboard skills. Responsibilities To take responsibility for the allocation of work and ensure it is completed within given timescales, working with the administration and clerical teams to ensure continuity of service. To assist in the recruitment and selection of administration and clerical staff. To manage diaries for doctors. To train new admin and clerical staff members as required. To ensure the provision of a quality administration service to all members of the multi-disciplinary team, incorporating the production of letters, assessments, and client case notes and other service related documentation. To ensure local policies and procedures are adhered to as well as LWSW policies and procedures. To assist in the projection, management and development of new admin and clerical systems and processes as and when required ensuring the service runs effectively. To provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Liaison Psychiatry Team, Team Manager and duty Medic/Consultant, including prompt updating of electronic record keeping system in relation to staff/patient activities and will input data into computer system regarding referrals, episodes, contacts and discharges in line with existing policies. The post holder will be based at Derriford Hospital but might require traveling across locality. The post holder will provide typing, filing, ordering stationary, arranging and contributing to meetings including taking minutes. The post holder will be able to work flexible hours across 7 days a week. The post holder will need to have the basic knowledge and skills to be able to audio type dictation from the Consultant/Medics.

JOB PURPOSE The post holder isresponsible for the delivery of high-quality public health nursing services for Children Young People & Families (CYP&F) through the management and deployment of resources within a defined budget. The post holder will lead on designated projects, ensure recommendations from Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews(CSPRs), near misses, complaints and other incidents are implemented, deliver the contract and Healthy Child Programme and facilitate clinicians involvement in service planning and decision making.
