Bellin Gundersen Health System is seeking a passionate and experienced full-time Human Resources Representative to join our HR Service Center team! We are looking for individuals who are organized and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As an HR Service Center Representative, you will play a key role in assisting employees with Human Resource related questions, responsible for administering FMLA, answering general policy questions, overseeing the tuition reimbursement program and will have the opportunity to take on special assignments across HR teams as needed and more!

Job Description:
Processes Human Resources changes in an accurate and timely basis to meet processing deadlines. Review information, documents, and processes for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance. Works with employees, managers, regional centers and customers to provide routine Human Resources information including forms, policies, reports, correspondence and other related data. Serves as a primary resource to internal and external customers regarding a variety of customer service issues promptly and professionally. Follow-up as needed to resolve questions. Provides a variety of administrative, computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation and support of Human Resources. Works as part of a team and frequently acts as a liaison between department staff and internal/external customers (communications, scheduling appointments, directing callers, maintaining department records/files, etc.) Assists Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits in HR Administration. Administers Family Medical Leave and the Tuition Investment Program.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Process on-boarding/new hire paperwork and personnel changes such as status changes, supervisor changes, requisitions, title changes, and terminations in an accurate and timely basis to meet all deadlines for payroll processing. Review information, documents, and processes for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance. Follow-up as needed to resolve questions. Maintain accurate employee data in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
2. Works closely with various regional centers to gain a thorough understanding of their practices and policies to ensure regional center information is accurately entered into HRIS system.
3. Review and administer Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, medical certifications, and track hours and eligibility. Enter FMLA requests in Kronos and FMLA tracking software. Researches FMLA law and reviews reports to bring issues of non-compliance and policy administration questions to appropriate HROM and FMLA department leader. Continues ongoing research to maintain understanding of how FMLA impacts multiple states.
4. Review and administer Tuition Investment Program eligibility, requirements, and request payments. Follow-up with customer as needed to request required repayment of funds when applicable.
5. Assists customers (managers, employees, medical professionals, and external entities) by phone, email, or in person to resolve any FMLA or other general Human Resources related issue, to schedule appointments; to coordinate services; or to address other needs. Serves as a centralized location for all Human Resources information. Helps customer by providing information and the use of appropriate Human Resources processes and policies. Responds to required government or agency inquiries related to unemployment or employment verifications.
6. Provides data entry, maintenance, tracking, and auditing work as needed to Payroll/Benefits/Compensation departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefit enrollment through Kronos and Lawson software. Works with managers on resolution of issues. Audits electronic Human Resources processes. Maintain, monitor, and audit other Human Resources programs, as needed.
7. Under supervision from the compensation department leader, gathers compensation data from spreadsheets, recommends job matches, and completes salary market surveys. Updates and maintains survey spreadsheets.
8. Assists Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation staff with various projects including, large mailings, year end benefit enrollment, quarterly orientations, internal report distribution, and preparation of retirement separation notices.
9. Performs administrative and other job-related responsibilities as requested.

Associate degree in Human Resources or a health related field or a business related field
Work Experience:

1 year in an office, healthcare or human resources setting.
