Key Duties: Provide a professional, customer focused Procurement service to all user departments. Liaise with internal stakeholders /suppliers and investigates queries, providing assistance and advice as required. Respond to general queries and enquiries in a timely and courteous manner, escalating as appropriate. Negotiate and co-ordinate contract renewals including but not limited to price, contract terms, payment terms, sustainability and added value. Process and/or validate Purchase Orders in line with best practice. Provide clear and expert advice on a range of Purchasing issues including best practice, legislation, and the analysis and interpretation of data, and ensure designated business areas are aware of purchasing processes and procedures. We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician-Aseptic Services to join our Pharmacy Team based at 22 Devonshire Place, London. We are offering a competitive salary (Band 4 NHS equivalent) starting from £31,222 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits. Job Profile The role of the Pharmacy Technician will assist in ensuring that aseptic services are delivered in a safe, effective, economical and timely manner. To perform in-process volume checks for operators during the compounding process. To perform the final release of aseptically prepared products, as deemed appropriate by ASU Management. To liaise with the releasing pharmacist and ASU Management to ensure the safe, efficient and timely delivery of aseptic products, facilitating workload prioritisation and co-ordination within the scope of own capacity and authority. Ensure an efficient medicines and sundries top-up service is provided to the Aseptic Services Unit (ASU). Accurate and timely charging of aseptically compounded items, as well as checking charging activities completed by junior members of staff. Ensure all paperwork is processed and filed correctly. Work with ASU Management to aid co-ordination of quality assurance and control activities including environmental and facilities monitoring, daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of ASU, as well as monthly active air sampling. To maintain equipment according to procedures, including leak testing of isolators and necessary scale calibration testing. Participate in quality improvement projects as directed by ASU Management.
