Principle Duties and Responsibilities Quality Monitoring Arrange and carry out scheduled and ad hoc quality monitoring audits across a range of Soft FM Services including but not limited to Cleaning, Catering, Pest control, Window Cleaning and Security. Responsible for developing, setting up, operating, and reviewing contract management and cleaning monitoring systems. Point of contact for PFI Service provider. Responsible for the KPI monitoring of the PFI agreement for the Soft FM services and associated performance calculations relating to the PFI contract. Responsible for the administration of contract management and cleaning monitoring systems and associated operational protocols. Point of contact for the monitoring system, dealings all issues, queries, and training for PFI partners and the wider E&F team. Responsible for escalated queries from other team members/Clinical teams that require resolution due to their complexity. Lead for the team in the quick and successful resolution of audit conduct queries. Ensuring all complaints are entered into the PFI Partners helpdesk systems. Responsible for co-ordinating responses to internal and external audits and associated action plans and ensuring recommendations are implemented and maintained.

We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative- Plumbing Bias. This will be to join our team based in Birmingham - Aston Pride Community Health Centre. The salary for this role is starting from £26,000. (depending on experience) plus on call allowance. This is Mobile role covering the Birmingham, Coleshill and Solihull area. This is full time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm. Requirements for the role: Qualifications - At least one of the below: NVQ Level 2 or higher BTEC/City & Guilds or equivalent in plumbing and heating. Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent. Additional Requirements: Driving licence is essential. Must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs. On-Call availability Desirable to have industry experience. Ability to work alone and/or as part of a wider team as this role will require you to work cohesively with other Technical Disciplines. Ensure compliance in accordance with all NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant NHSPS Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, and any applicable aspects of HTMs. Deliver Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained. To also support the work that is included in minor works mangers activities. Undertake routine repairs or minor works including joinery, painting and decoration, general building works, ground works or general plumbing. To maintain effective site logbooks at all NHS premises where required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Support the Projects/Construction team and Team Leader in delivering minor capital works to NHS premises. Complete suitable risk assessments prior to undertaking works and undertake works as per instructions within any relevant permit or work plan. This role will also include other operative tasks such as basic fabric, electrical and general operative tasks. The following are the core responsibilities of the Practice Pharmacy Technician: -Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team whilst in a supporting function to the GPs, clinical pharmacists and other clinicians within agreed prescribing standard operating procedures -Support the clinicians and reception/admin staff as the point of contact for all medicines related matters, responding to queries from medical and nursing colleagues and from patients, relatives or carers both face to face, over the telephone or remote models of consultation -Process repeat medication requests, including the conversion of acute requests to repeat medicines, changing quantities of medicines and to increase the uptake of repeat dispensing -Issue prescriptions in line with agreed clinical protocols and within your competency -To encourage cost-effective prescribing as recommended by CCG Medicines Management Team -Undertake medicines reconciliation post discharge and on other transfers of care -To update and maintain accurate and timely patient medication records on the practice clinical system, including advice given and action taken -Liaise with secondary and primary care colleagues to ensure correct medicines are continued following the transfer of care -Monitor practice adherence to the prescribing policy -Support in the delivery of QOF and other quality or cost effectiveness initiatives -Implement and embed a robust repeat prescribing system for use across all practices -Ensure appropriate supervision of safe storage, rotation and disposal of vaccines and drugs -Apply infection-control measures within the practice according to local and national guidelines -Support in the delivery of enhanced services and other service requirements -Promote safe use of medication, reporting of medicines related incidents and pro-actively preventing safeguarding incidents. -Participate in the management of patient complaints when requested to do so and participate in the identification of any necessary learning brought about through incidents and near-miss events -Actively signpost patients to the correct healthcare professional -Encourage and help patients to sign up to order medication online -Contribute to and embrace the spectrum of clinical governance -Contribute to public health campaigns (e.g. flu clinics) through advice or direct care -Education & Training -Provide training and support on the legal, safe and secure handling of medicines, the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) and repeat dispensing -Support the clinical pharmacist and GPs in improving the quality and effectiveness of prescribing through clinical audit and education to improve performance against NICE standards, and clinical and prescribing guidance -Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes -Identify and be proactive in your training needs and development and as agreed with the Partners -Take part in the appraisal process every 12 months. To visit the catering facilities, wards and patients in order to monitor the catering service and address any catering issues.
